Michael Walden Talks about Whitney's Spirit

Narada Michael Walden talks about Whitney Houston and her spirit. I believe everything he said. He was around Whitney, spent time with her, and he knows exactly how she was. I wish I could have met Whitney and her father and mother. I enjoyed Michael's story and his expressions.

After hearing Michael Walden, now, I believe my dream that I had after Whitney left us was a true dream. I want to tell and share a whole lot more, but some things should not be told to everyone. However, I know that God has a plan. I can at least say that. I believe Whitney gave us only a taste of her good spirit if God has any thing to do with it. I feel like it's not over. Remember, our talents come from God, and he can certainly use us. I didn't have a dream about Whitney for nothing. I believe God can use a person in our dreams and visions to help us whether a person is dead or alive. All things are possible according to the Bible. Some think man has power over our lives and our souls. We sometimes forget who is really in charge and we become afraid. ( Matt. 10:28) And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

I believe Whitney could do a lot of things in Christ. What Whitney had was not of this world. I believe that she did the best she could in singing spiritual songs and singing about love. Whitney taught us something in her singing. She also taught us something about man and fame and God.

Michael: She got hot with the spirit. That happened on every song... She loved Jesus, Loved God, Loved her Savior, and Jesus Christ. She would speak about that daily. And feel better after speaking about it....That was how she dealt with fame.

Whitney's Documentary

Whitney Houston: Hi, I'm Whitney Houston. I have a movie in mind that I want to do while I'm touring.

I see that Whitney could have done a lot of things herself. She had the experience, and she knew the business. Whitney could have been her own boss. I often wonder did she know that she was the boss.

Whitney Houston Was Not Dead Inside by Walkingingrace

From YouTube
From YouTube, someone by the name of Walkingingrace mentions that we should try to see the good in a person. I heard her message by seeing her title of her video in the search engine. Whitney's death has made people think of Christ and judgement.

Pastor Shirley Caesar Talks about Whitney

From YouTube
Pastor Shirley Caesar talks about how Whitney found her way out in the end. She believes that the church (the body of Christ) did not fail Whitney. Shirley believes that the enemy did things to Whitney.

I know that it was the enemy because anything bad that happens is nothing but Satan. He can also work through other things and other people. We all know about him. We have to fight and pray. God can make us strong. God is all about good, and I believe Whitney had some good in her. I do not know what drove Whitney to drugs. I believe something was bothering Whitney, and whatever it was, she needed to overcome it. I agree with Pastor Shirley. I believe she found her way out. I believe she overcame. Nobody but Jesus could have helped Whitney. He knew what her problem was better than anyone. Whitney knew that Jesus loved her, and that was whom she sought. That's why she sung Jesus Loves Me. I believe that the Lord answered Whitney.

(Rev. 2:17) He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit said to the churches; To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knows saving he that receives it.

I know Whitney will be glad to get rid of her old name because people scandalized it so bad. In heaven, there will be no more scandalizing.

Whitney Is Away

When I think of Whitney, I think of her as someone that packed up to leave.

Whitney Houston - His Eye Is On The Sparrow

Whitney left us with some gospel. One of her last recordings is His Eye Is On the Sparrow. It's a wonderful feeling to know that she has taken us back to church. Whitney must of had something within. It was something letting us know that she carried the church in her heart. Although she was involved in another music world, she did not forget to sing a church song.

Whitney's Best Friend and Assistant Robyn

Google Image
Whitney had a best friend that became her assistant. Her name was Robyn Crawford. I did not know anything about Robyn until I saw the tabloids. My mother was the one that read up on Whitney and her friend in the 90's and said, "It sounds like this girl Robyn worked really well with Whitney." I learned that Robyn was Whitney's creative director also. Robyn must of had some great skills. I never paid much attention about the stories on why Robyn broke away from Whitney. Some say that it was to protect Whitney's image. People said that there was something going on between them. We can never tell what is really true and sometimes it really doesn't matter.  If we were not with them, we will never know. You can not always go by what people say even if it sounds and looks like the truth.

Hold on to Valuable Friendship

There was one thing that mattered to me a little bit. If Robyn was really important to Whitney, and if Robyn and Whitney did great business together, that means that Robyn was very valuable. If Robyn was not bringing Whitney down, if Robyn and Whitney got along well, they should have kept on doing business together. Best friends should never let anything get in their way, and especially if things are working out well for you in a career. When I look back at how well Whitney was doing with her friend Robyn, it kind of makes me sad seeing how things turned out for the worst. I believe that Whitney should have stuck with that friend as far as her career. It is said that Robyn knew Whitney before she got famous. So what was the problem? If they were friends that long doing business together, they should have stayed friends doing business together. Having too many other people involved can sometimes break up a real friendship. I know what that is all about.

Never Live in Shame

People are always worried about image or what somebody is going to say. People, let the shame go if you have nothing to be ashamed of. Never let anyone make you feel ashamed. Don't live in shame. Live your life and your life will speak for you. If I had been in Whitney's situation, a whole lot of folks would have been mad at me. The more rumors they would have put out about me and my friend, with the help of Jesus, it would have made me stick by that friend even more. People are going to say and think what they want to, and you can not make them feel any different. People are still bringing up the past, spreading rumors and gossip about Whitney, and she is dead. See how it doesn't matter what people think? Most of them were not even around Whitney. They just go by he said and she said. They believe what every journalist tell them, and they are not always true. Now that is something to be ashamed of.

Whitney Houston & Jordin Sparks -Celebrate

From YouTube
Whitney Houston has a new single called Celebrate written and produced by R Kelly. She sang it with Jordin Sparks. Jordin also has a nice singing voice. She sounds great with Whitney. The song sounds nice like I thought it would.

Whitney Was Truly Every Woman

Whitney sung, "I'm Every Woman". The song spoke for itself in order to find the meaning of the song. People could see as they looked at the modeling or fashion Whitney that she was every woman. You could see her many faces and changes. Women could see themselves in Whitney. If Whitney had a bad hair day, it was cool. She was being herself, and it probably made other women feel better about themselves. Whitney could relate to all women. When we looked at her, some of us said, "I dig." You know why? Cause Whitney is and was every woman. She was a very beautiful woman.

John Legend & Jordin Sparks - Whitney Houston Tribute

From YouTube
John Legend and Jordin Sparks did a nice job singing for Whitney. I wish that Whitney could have been here to see it, but I know that she can see. I know that she is proud of her daughter, Bobbi Kristina.

National Enquirer of Whitney in Coffin is Fake

According to newyork.cbslocal.com, Whitney's service was sad and at the same time celebratory, with Whitney dressed in all white, her slender body was not in a coffin. To me, that means that the National Enquirer's photo of Whitney in a coffin is fake. Well, that's no surprise. That means that the entertainment news did not know what they were talking about when they were flashing the photo of the Enquirer all over the television. That means that Whitney was not in a coffin dressed in purple. I will not write too much about her death because  I do not know much of anything. It's kind of hard when you did not see the body for yourself, and it's hard to know when you did not go to the funeral. I only wish that I had been with Whitney to save her life.

Whitney's Remake "I'm Every Woman"

From Video "I'm Every Woman" Whitney Houston
The first time that I heard Whitney Houston's remake of I'm Every Woman by Chaka Khan, I did not know that it was Whitney singing it. It sounded just like the original. For a while, I did not pay any attention.

One day I was sitting in my room and it was playing on the radio. My mother came into my room and heard it playing. She asked, "Who that?"

I said, "Mama, they playing that song like it's new. I have been hearing it a lot, and I know Chaka Khan sung it. I remember hearing that song from a little girl unless it made a hit all over again."

Me and my mother continued to listen. When the song got near the end, I heard Whitney's voice saying, Chaka Khan. I said, "Wait! That sounds like Whitney Houston."

My mother said, "Hmm! I believe it is."

When we heard Whitney's laugh, I knew for sure then that it was Whitney. I love to hear Whitney's laugh. It is like a little trademark sound of her to me.

Whitney Houston by Nasta

Whitney and Show Business

I heard Celine Dione mention that she was scared of show business after Whitney's Death. She mentioned that she didn't go to the parties. Well, I have been hearing that show business was a bad thing all of my life. It did not appear that show business was bad to me until I came out of high school in the 90's. That is when I began to see that something was not right, but my mother often warned me before hand. She had a chance to be a singer and her mother also warned her. My mother knew that I wanted to sing. In my opinion, singing and acting is bad. I heard about how you had to be careful signing contracts and all of that. I also heard that bad things happen to singers and actors. It's all of that entertainment world as far as I'm concerned and it is beyond that.

Now, I'm starting to wonder. Is that the real reason Whitney Houston is dead? Is it something more than drugs? Did we get to see the real Whitney Houston? Did she really make her own choices? That is why I say don't judge. People were acting like Whitney's death didn't matter. They say that Whitney did it to herself. How do we know that? Why was Whitney so scared to do the Bodyguard? Why are people calling show business demonic? They don't call show business demonic for nothing. Whitney appeared fine making albums until she got into the movies. Her mother warned her. So her mother knew and Whitney knew. That brings another question. If Whitney knew about show business, why did she get into it being so scared? Why did someone ask Whitney after she did the Bodyguard about one of her songs being played at her funeral? Makes you wonder about the whole entertainment world and that people knew already that she was going to die. They even mentioned that Whitney was around dangerous people.

Sometimes I wonder about the country we live in. They say America is so wonderful and that we are a free country. That shouldn't include that we can do bad things. After reading history books about how strict laws use to be and what was done to witches long ago, I'm surprised that America allow certain things to be in our country today. We can fight for our country, but why isn't certain things taken care of in America right in front of us that ought not to be? Why is it that certain things are not being investigated? This is why bad things happen to good people. People don't fight and stand up for God and for what is right. Now, demonic is okay, prayer is slowly being taken away, gay marriage is okay. Everything that God is against is exactly what we are getting.

Oprah Respected Whitney While Interviewing Her

People can say what they want to about Oprah, but during her interview with Whitney, she did not disrespect Whitney. It is Oprah's job to interview people and that is how she makes her living . However, Oprah does it in a very mature way. She also asked Whitney sensible questions. Oprah did not try to hurt Whitney's feelings and embarrass her before millions of people.

A Mean Interview by Someone Else

I'm not saying any names, but I heard someone say that Whitney was high in a particular interview with someone else. When I heard the interview, I heard a hurting and frustrating Whitney and not a high Whitney. I heard a woman asking her questions as if she wanted to embarrass Whitney. They were very personal nasty questions near the end. I was not asked these questions and it made me mad just like it did Whitney. I didn't hear that interview or know anything about it in 2003. But, if I could have heard it, I would have written the lady that interviewed her a letter to tell her how wrong she was. I still could do it, but the past is in the past. All that lady did was sound like a woman with no morals. She made herself look bad and not Whitney. That lady kept telling Whitney that she loved her, but she didn't. No one with love would have done things in the way that she did. If somebody has done something wrong, you do not embarrass them in front of people to make yourself look good. You take them off to the side and talk to them.

People say mean things about Oprah, but she's nothing like that other lady that interviewed Whitney. If you want to get interviewed the right way, Oprah is the way to go. Whitney made a great choice.

Whitney Houston on Access Hollywood

From YouTube
Whitney Houston was interviewed about sparkle. See how she talks about playing a mother and why she chose to play the part.
Whitney was doing great. Her death made no sense. She had matured so much and was turning her life around. I just knew she was going to be alright. I had no doubt in my mind. We will understand it better by and by.

Whitney and Dottie Rambo

From YouTube
Whitney won a Dove Gospel Award for singing, I Go To The Rock. The Lady standing beside her (Dottie) in the picture wrote the song and she also sung it. Dottie said, "I thank God for a voice like Whitney Houston."

I believe that Whitney was made for Gospel. I believe that God allowed her to sing decent love songs too without taking away her gift to make great hits and albums. People loved Whitney's Gospel even though she sung pop or R&B. I think it was accepted more from her than other singers like Sam Cook. People just loved Whitney no matter what she sung. She was allowed to do both. I may be wrong, but it seemed like the gospel audiences were harder and strict in Sam Cook's day on whether you sung gospel or rock-n-roll. The Gospel audience as well as the rock-n-roll audience accepted Whitney.

Only Whitney Can Speak About Her Life to God

Look at all the world just talking about Whitney Houston. We all speculate and we all talk. We try to read between the lines and put two and two together, but only Whitney can tell the true version of her life story. She's gone now, and she doesn't owe the world an explanation. The same God that is going to judge Whitney is the same God that will judge the whole world. What have you done in your life that wasn't right? What ever it was in secret is going to be known. If you left your secret with someone, they may not tell it until after you are gone. So what? Somebody may have seen or somebody may have known, but God knows even more. One day everybody is going to know what everybody has done. On that day, no one can hide and no one can run. It doesn't start with Whitney Houston, and it doesn't end with her. Everybody's time is coming.

All of those folks that will try to write and sell books about Whitney's life, you can save it. Everybody is going to have a different story to tell, but none can tell it like Whitney. Nobody can tell what was going on inside of Whitney's mind and soul. Don't nobody know but Whitney and her Lord and Savior. One thing about God, he will forgive and still own you as his child before the deadline. You can tell him anything, and he will not talk about you to all of the world. Whitney knew that, and when she called on God for herself, she did the right thing regardless of the wrong that she was doing. (Romans 10:13) for, Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Go on and take a look at the documentaries on Whitney's addiction. Take a look at her death. Then think about your own life. What's your hidden secret? What is your weakness? How was your childhood? Will you always be in your right mind? Who is mistreating you? What's driving you to an addiction? It doesn't have to be drugs ladies and gentlemen. We go through things differently but end up in the same boat somewhere down the line. We all have problems. That's why we ought to always pray.  (Luke 18:1) And he spoke a parable to them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;..

Whitney's Family Reality Show

This morning, I saw on ABC  that Whitney's Family is suppose to be doing a reality show. I do not see why they would want to put their lives on television to all of the world like that. They are in the tabloids and all over the internet and television enough as it is. They are being talked about on the radio too. People laugh and joke about them. It sounds like they want fame and publicity. Whitney just died and already the family  is doing a reality show. I don't think Whitney would like that. Why would they want to entertain the world with their grief? Nothing is private anymore and things could get harder for Whitney's daughter. Whitney's family is going to let the whole world into their lives with a video camera for television. People in Hollywood do some crazy things. They do not think like the average person.

I do not want to hear famous people complain anymore about privacy. First of all, I wouldn't put up with those so called photo journalist called paparazzi. If they had done me like they had done Whitney in my own private home, I would have been in jail or something. To get a picture, they know how to keep off someone's property and zoom in with a video camera. There is a right and wrong way to do things. This world is ridiculous and some things  need to be stopped.

Getting back to Whitney's family, their lives are troubled enough. What are they thinking? They shouldn't bring more grief and pain into their lives. I'm sick of those reality shows anyway just like I became sick of all of the talk shows. People just got to go on television to talk about their troubles. What for? If they can't solve their problems, the world sure can't. That's what God is for.

Tyler Perry's Great Sermon

From YouTube
Tyler Perry gave a great sermon on Whitney at her funeral. I wish that it was longer. I was enjoying it more than all of the other speeches. Now, I do not know Tyler's heart or how close he is to God. It sounds like he loves God, and he sounds like he knows a lot about God. It sounds like Tyler reads his Bible. I think that Tyler gave the best sermon, and I believe that Whitney was a good person.

Whitney Psalms 116:15

Whitney's sister in law, Pat Houston, read from (Psalms 116:15) Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. She said that she had always been a bit curious and troubled by that statement made by David. That's funny. I have Psalms 116:15 marked in my Bible from a long time ago. I must have wondered about it too. I think that there is hope in death if you are considered a saint in God's eyes. Death can mean different things. We can die and return to the ground or we can die a death like Elijah and Enoch. If we die like Moses, it might not be the death we think it is. Moses was seen with Elijah and Jesus (Matthew 17:3). We do not know all of God's business, but he has a way of letting us know some things. There are people that see saints and angels this very day. Things are happening in our lives that we do not know is happening and they are good things.

Whitney's mother, Cissy, said that if she thought she could do something to bring Whitney back that is what she would do, and she said that she knew it was impossible. However, the Bible did not say that it was impossible. It takes great faith in God. We need to find out what that great faith is all about. People do not have it today. God has done things for me concerning my mother that passed away. He gave me a little taste and showed me that he could bring back the dead when my mother was dying who is dead. God brought my mother back a little while in the hospital, but it was in God's will to take her still. He told me some things. I believe Mrs. Cissy Houston when she said that she can still hear Whitney, and I believe Bobbie Kristina her granddaughter. It is a blessing and God can allow more.

Isaiah 8:19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?

Seek the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Whitney and Brandy_Cinderella

From YouTube
Whitney looked like a big sister hugging Brandy. Brandy was lucky to meet and work with Whitney. Whitney was a great coach. She seemed like a producer at the same time she was a singer. I saw everything in Whitney. She could really act. Whitney played the godmother well. Brandy did a great job playing Cinderella. My own mother even thought they did well, and she was a critic.

Whitney sung a song when she was young, Didn't We Almost Have It All. Well, she did have it all. There was no almost about it. I wish to God that Whitney had lived longer and kept on going with all that she had. In the work of God, she could have raised some dead and sick child from the dead with that beautiful voice that she had. We never think about impossible things like that. What does the good book say about Impossible? ( Mark 10:27) And Jesus looking on them said, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.  Brandy and Whitney sung a song in the movie Cinderella titled, Impossible.

Whitney's Girl Group, Sunday

From YouTube
Did you know that Whitney discovered a group called Sunday? They are three sisters and two cousins from Whitney's Better Place Records. Wow, Whitney discovered a group and had her own record label. I didn't know that.

Whitney's Back Up Singers in Concert

From YouTube
When Whitney was performing at Constitution Hall, I loved her 3 backup singers through the whole concert. I especially liked the way they backed her up singing Waiting to Exhale (Shoop). They could really shoop. In 7:42 of the video, I love the way they break it down. I wonder did they back Whitney up on any of her records. They are awesome singers and their voices blend well.

 Whitney's Shoop Audience
Whitney also had a Shoop audience featuring BeBe Winans, Pastor Shirley Caesar, and Monica. It tickled me so bad that Shirley Caesar got into the action in a gospel way. I didn't think Whitney was going to get the mic back. Bobbi Kristina tickled me too. She was so cute.

A Whitney Houston concert was a lot of fun. I wish I had been there. I don't know nothing about no shoop, but if Whitney would have called on me to shoop, I would have done a little something of my own. Knowing me, I would have added something extra to the song and ended it with a shoop.

Rickey Minor - Whitney's Music Director

From YouTube
Whitney Houston has a handsome music director name Rickey Minor. He performed with Whitney live in Washington (Constitution Hall).
Whitney introduced him to the audience and said something about him like, "You know he really thinks he's sharp in his suit. So he really thinks he's cute, ya know." Whitney would kind of clown around with him. They look like they were close friends and looked as if they had been together for a long time in music. She had some great backup.

Whitney Can't Be Judged by the Way Things Look

You saw Whitney Houston in her final days? So what! We saw bits and pieces of some clips that somebody took. Anybody can record in this day and age. Whoever recorded Whitney during her last days did not record everything that we needed to see. We still do not know actually what was going on with Whitney. She cannot be judged by the way things look. We cannot believe everything that we hear. It is said that Whitney was drunk according to the videos that somebody taped for us to see, but to my eyes Whitney was not drunk at all. She goes into the party looking fine and then suddenly she doesn't look so good. Everything was not shown to my eyes and everything was not recorded. Videos that we see are not the whole picture of Whitney's final days. The media will tell you just enough to get you excited, but the public is not stupid. C'mon, this is the year of 2012. In the 1980's, a lot of people would have believed just about everything they saw. People are getting wiser now. I think somebody has fed the public some lies and it's going to catch up with them. It's already happening. The truth is going to come out. It may be ten years later, but the the truth will be clearly seen. Right now, it appears that the lie is wearing truth's clothes. I am not saying that Whitney didn't do drugs, but something still does not sound and look right with the whole story. When a true story is told, you don't have to back track and wonder with questions.

(John 7:24) Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

Whitney Houston Greatest Love of All

Wikipedia

When Whitney came along with Greatest Love of All, I had some problems singing it. I was a teenager then. Whitney had a different vocal range than I had. I would sing up to a certain point and stop and listen to her. My mom would ask, "Why do you stop? You never sing the song all the way through?"

I would say, "Whitney's too strong. She's too high for me right there, and I get tired. That is a long song. Whitney is long winded, and I get out of breath." When Whitney would get to..."I decided long ago never to walk in anyone's shadow", I would stop to listen. I thought to myself, "The song is new. I have to learn it that's all." I would play back Whitney's song and wondered how I was going to sing that particular line that she was singing so high and loud with an attitude.

My mother would say, "Gail, you have to find your own voice, but you sound kind of like Whitney. You sound a lot like her when you first start."

When I would play Whitney's song, I would turn the volume down to sing over her voice to find mine. I didn't like it, and I felt an audience wouldn't like it either. Still, I was hearing Whitney's voice and the way she sung it. That would be the voice the audience would want to hear. Back in those days, if you sung a song, you had to sound like the person that sung that song. That's when I started writing my own songs.

Whitney Houston - Try It On My Own

Wikipedia
Try It On My Own is a great song by Whitney Houston. It really suits her. It is a single that comes from her album titled Just Whitney. The words to the song sound as if it is Whitney. According to Wikipedia, Just Whitney was her fourth studio album in four years since 1988. It was released in 2002.This is where I did not hear Whitney's song still grieving because of a lot of death that had happened around me. I felt alone and had to try things on my own.

I'm wiser now
I'm not the foolish girl you used to know
So long ago
I'm stronger now
I've learned from my mistakes which way to go
And I should know
I put myself aside to do it your way
But now I need to do it all alone

And I am not afraid to try it on my own
I don't care if I'm right or wrong
I'll live my life the way I feel
No matter what I'll keep it real you know
Time for me to do it on my own

It's over now
I can't go back to living through your eyes
Too many lines
And if you don't know by now
I can't go back to being someone else
Not anymore
I never had a chance to do things my way
So now it's time for me to take control

And I am not afraid to try it on my own
I don't care if I'm right or wrong
I'll live my life the way I feel
No matter what I'm gonna keep it real you know
Time for me to do it

Oh I start again go back to one
I'm running things my way
Can't stop me now, I've just begun
Don't even think about it
There ain't no way about it
I'm taking names, the ones of mine
Yes I'm gonna take my turn
It's time for me to finally stand alone, stand alone

I am not afraid to try it on my own
And I don't care if I'm right or wrong
I'll live my life the way I feel
No matter what I'm gonna keep it real you know
It's time for me to do it
See I'm not afraid

Whitney's Fame from Man_Talent from God

Whitney Looks Like a Minister
Whitney's fame came from man, and her talent came from God. We don't know any better but to do things man's way. Man's way can be very tiresome and all of the things that may not be good for you mentally and physically.  They will work the you know what out of you, and cheat you too. Man cares more about a dollar bill than anything in this world. It seems to be his god. Everybody knows that the entertainment world can be something else. So Whitney had a God given talent that was bigger than man's entertainment.

Yesterday, I was talking with a guy. He was talking about all of the mistakes he made in life and how he could have been living large. However, he spent most of his money on liquor. I think we all do dumb things when we are not happy. To make a long story short, we started talking about music and how we missed Whitney. He said, "I am so sick and tired of that rap mess." Considering the kind of guy that he was, I did not expect that to come out of his mouth. What Whitney had will never grow old. Her albums to me are gold. I didn't learn anything about life and love through hip hop, but I did listening to Whitney. Her albums will probably get played more times than old school rap. She is a true legend.

Whitney Houston had the right idea about music. She should have been allowed to do things her way which was the right way. Whitney should have had time to rest when she wanted to and not over work herself. Don't they know that stress can make a person not do their best? It was probably stress that drove Whitney to drugs and drinking. Everybody wanted Whitney. She started doing movies. Yet, there were some people  that wanted to degrade Whitney about her music and her life. Whitney was truly soul and truly black and real. We have our own eyes to see and not what the media tells us. We could see what was up, and we could see what was going down and why. Like Whitney, some of us do not get a kick out of seeing tabloids either. We don't all enjoy that someone has a downfall and all of the gossip. It's a sin, but again, it's all about that dollar bill. It is the way of the world, and God is frowning.

In the picture above, to me, Whitney looks like a minister. She had the right idea when she sung a couple of gospel songs. Whitney had God on her mind or else she would not have done what she did. She did not seem to forget God, and she had love for people. If God was not in her soul, she would not have had as much love as she did. Whitney wanted us to love her too, and I do. She wasn't just some old diva. Whitney was a natural woman with natural talent. That made her the best. She had a downfall, but she held on to her God. God looks at the heart.

(Samuel 16:7) But the LORD said to Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD sees not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.

Whitney and My Strange Feeling

When I first heard that Whitney Houston was on drugs, it was after she got married. Somewhere deep down in my soul, I felt that it was not time for Whitney to die. So, I did not worry about her. It went into one ear and went out the other. I lost touch with the things that were going on with Whitney because I had a life of my own. My mother became very sick and had to go on Chemotherapy. What was going on in my life was more reality and more important to me. I just knew that Whitney was going to be alright for a long time. After my mother had passed away in 2001, I was not hearing anything about Whitney. Still, I felt that Whitney was not going to die. I felt that Whitney was suppose to see something in this life before she left this world, but I did not know what. It was just a spiritual feeling not understood.

One day I was at my computer and heard by watching the news that Whitney had passed away on Feb. 11, 2012. I thought, "NO Way! Not Whitney!" After that, the entertainment world was nothing to me anymore. I had given up thoughts on being a singer. Whitney's death took a lot out of me for entertainment. When she died, that love I had for entertainment died too. It's strange though because a long time before then I wasn't listening to any of Whitney's music or any other up-to-date singers. I didn't care for the new music. The year before Whitney died, I started listening to some of her latest music. Then I wrote an article on Whitney that she was the best. My mind was thinking of her the year before she passed. The next thing I knew, Whitney was gone that next year which is 2012. However, I feel that it was not meant for Whitney to go for some strange reason. Then the Lord spoke to me and told me not to worry about Whitney's death. She's got to be alright, and I'm hoping to see her one day soon in heaven.

Whitney Pencil Drawing

From YouTube
This is a great pencil drawing from a great artist. It's nice to see people honoring Whitney Houston regardless of all the bad things people say. Not everyone is thinking bad things about a person. That's the way God is. He does not care what you have done or what you may have been through. God still has love for you, and you can always go back to him. The love of God is in the hands and heart of the artist that drew this picture of Whitney.

Glee "How Will I Know"

From YouTube
Check out Glee's breath taking performance of Whitney Houston's "How Will I know". Back in the 80's, I never would have thought of performing it the way Glee did after hearing Whitney.

Whitney Within Our Hearts

Everybody's talking about the death of Whitney Houston. It's funny how some of us can see the life of someone that has passed away in our dreams. It's funny how we can receive their messages. It's funny how they sometimes come back to lead us to the truth and to what is really real. Sounds like heaven to me. There are some things we have within us. Whitney is inside our hearts, and she knew God.  I'm reminded by a Bible verse. (Luke 17:21) Neither shall they say, See here! or, see there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Whitney Houston _Step by Step Keep Movin'

Often, I think about the lyrics to Whitney Houston's song, Step by Step. There are words that stand out that she sings like, DON'T GIVE UP, GOT TO KEEP MOVIN', and YOU GOT TO HOLD ON TO WHAT YOU GOT. Sometimes I feel like giving up thinking about all of the things that I have to do that are taking forever to get done. It is mainly because of God that I do not stop because he told me not to before I ever heard Whitney's song. I could not help but notice that she was sending out a message that was given to me from the Lord. I try to hold on to what I have which is God. Without him, I wouldn't make it and would not have the things that are given by the Lord. As I think of the title of the song, Step by Step, I think of a Bible verse. (Psalm 37:23) The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delights in his way.

Sometimes I think about what I have lost like my mother. It feels as if Whitney is a part of me too and she is gone also. If you have lost anyone, hold on to what you have inside, keep movin', and don't give up. You will see them again.
