Whitney Had Love

Whitney Houston loved herself some church. She would be in the middle of talking about something and break out with it. Those weren’t Whitney Houston’s words in the song, but that’s how she would do. I love what Whitney did. It makes me wonder if she really wanted to be a preacher. I believe she needed to be one because she would act as if she were one on stage. I believe Whitney Houston had more than the gift of singing. .....

Whitney Houston - Better Place

You know Whitney said a lot of things for us to remember. She said: The world talk about me. I love y’all, but I don’t live for y’all. …. When you’re older, you learn what it’s about to relax and enjoy. You’re not so young; not so eager. Some of the mistakes you made are gone. They’re over!”

Whitney Houston - Zion by Gail Nobles

Everyday I think of Whitney Houston. I hope I’ll see her in God’s kingdom. I believe that I will. The Lord must have told her that he was going to take her home. She talked as if she knew she would leave us. Whitney looked as if she was trying to live her life better. The Lord told me not to worry. I’m looking forward to meeting Whitney one day in the Lord’s Kingdom.

ZION

In loving memory of Whitney Houston (I’ll think of you and you) (Zion) (Every step of the way) (Zion) (Oh Whitney moved not too far away) (Zion)

Whitney Houston had one wish for Christmas Joy and peace on earth. And she’s not that far away because of THE COMFORTER. Let’s hope in the SAVIOR (Cause they’ll be better days) (Zion)

The Voice The Crown

In the beginning, when I first saw Whitney, to me, she was a spiritual and special person. I do not remember any other singer like her in the days of the 80’s. When I saw her singing gospel with her mom and brother one night on television, I felt like there was some kind of hope for something better in life. Whitney was more than a singer. Whether she knew it or not, she was a leader. Whitney may not have been perfect in her personal life, but she was perfect enough that if she reached out to her fans and told them to stay away from the bad things in life, they probably would have done it because they looked up to her.

Whitney Houston had some affect on me. It made me feel good that she grew up in church. It made me feel good to hear her stories how her mom got on her case, because the same stuff was happening to me. I thought people that grew up the way Whitney did couldn’t get a career in singing blues because of how she served God. Then, I learned that her mom was a singer too, and Whitney was blessed to make it. So I always kept my eyes and ears open some when it came to Whitney. I knew she was going to have some frustrations. I kind of understood who Whitney Houston was when she talked about her mom and her upbringing. For some odd reason, I felt like Whitney was my family. I still do.

When it was pronounced that Whitney passed away, I was in a very close relationship with God. My mom had passed away and then we lost another great singer. We had lost MJ, Aaliyah, Selena and then Whitney. The comforter had come to visit me. They were very important to some of us, and I know they were important to God as well. He told me to keep Whitney in my memory.

Today, I still think of Whitney. She was the queen in singing. I think of her as the voice who wears the crown.

Whitney - I Have Nothing:Happy Heavenly Birthday

Whitney Elizabeth Houston is that everyday occasion. Fans are celebrating and singing her songs.

Singing (Cause I’ll never change all my colours for you).

Something said to me: Keep her in your memory.
Aaah! It’s good to feel heaven. God knows what we have need of, and someday he’ll bring back all who we have lost. That day will come.

Whitney was born Aug. 9th 1963. Let the candle lights burn if you want to and yearly. As you stay in touch with the one above, and know that he’s got her all in his love.

One day Whitney said: I’d like to thank my almighty father in heaven. And my savior Jesus. I could not make it and would not want to make it without him. I’d like to thank all of the fans. All of you.” ___ Whitney Houston

Happy heavenly birthday Whitney. We still have something in our hearts.

Singing (And It’s You).

Rest in peace Whitney.

Yesterday - Whitney Within

Wikipedia.org
Transcript

One evening, I saw Whitney Houston in a dream. She appeared to be laughing and she said, "No, I'm not coming back. Not right away."

The Dream didn't last very long. (Singing) I believe in yesterday.

And I said as she kept looking back at someone, "You can't be gone! You got more work to do!"

And she said, "Actually, I didn't know you were the boss. You better get along with me." Whitney made me laugh. (singing)

And Whitney said, "I got you."
(Background singing: Rest in peace)
I'll never loose you.
(Background singing: Rest in peace)
And lift the Savior up. I'm in a better place now.
I just stop by to say what's up."

I had quite a dream. (Singing)

Whitney Within

Usage: Wikepedia.org Fair use
It was the year of 2012 when I created a blog. It was a blog about Whitney Houston. I named it Whitney Within. I didn't name it Whitney Within because of singing. I named it Whitney Within because of feeling. There were things inside of me that I felt. There was something guiding me along and letting me know that Whitney was really a decent person. I looked at her from the very beginning of her career. I feel the guide is a simple gift. Something tells me that Whitney did make some mistakes. Don't we all? Something also tells me that she was very powerful, and there was a lot of envying going on. I was told to look at what I saw. I feel that was the Spirit of God talking with me. I heard him say, "Don't worry about Whitney's death."

Many times I would listen to Whitney Houston sing. She could sing with a loud shout. Whitney would do the kind of things in singing that gospel singers do. One day I tried singing in that shouting voice incorrectly and discovered that Whitney's high note wasn't my high note. Somehow I felt Whitney Houston saying, "You have strength. Stay with you." To be honest, I don't feel the spirit of shouting when I sing. I feel something else. What God gave to Whitney Houston, God gave to Whitney Houston.

As I study the Bible, God talks with me about things like raising the dead. I don't know whether or not God intended for Whitney Houston to die. Right now, she's resting. I feel in God that it's only the beginning. Sometimes I feel a mystery.

St. John 11:25 “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:”

It feels like Whitney Houston never left. I'm Gail Nobles, and this is my story, "Whitney Within".

Cissy Mentions Whitney Wanted to be Liked

Google Image
Miss Cissy Houston mentioned in her book that Whitney wanted to be liked. She said that Whitney couldn't understand it if someone didn't like her. According to Miss Houston, Whitney thought everybody was good when she was a child. She didn't like fighting. Whitney wanted everybody to be friends.

I have also heard stories about Whitney from her friends like Jennifer Holiday. As a grown woman, Whitney didn't like to fight from what I can understand. I believe that Whitney was a peacemaker. I'm sure she turned the other cheek many times in her life. But I also understand Miss Houston's point of view about how you must stand up for yourself. There were times that I saw and heard Whitney stand up for herself though. I'll never forget the time when Whitney got mad at Wendy Williams (LOL). Her mother's temper came out of her that day. Whitney just had to learn on her own like we all do. It's one thing when somebody tells you something and another thing when you learn for yourself.

You know, I wish I could have been around Whitney in her life to tell her how much I like her. We must like ourselves too. If you don't like yourself, nobody else is going to. People will try to make you give up and die. That should make us want to live even more. When people see that you are going to be strong and go on, they will come around you sooner or later and learn to like you. It may be that they didn't like you because they wish they had the God and strength in them that you have in you. Don't try to fit in. Just be you. Some people will hate you no matter what you do. Whitney was the best and people knew. Whitney can see too resting from the things that made her blue.

Whitney Houston - Do You Hear What I Hear

YouTube
Whitney Houston sings, "Do You Hear What I Hear", in this video. I'm glad she left us some Christmas songs. We can't spend Christmas with her, but we can in her music with our families. We still have her in our memory, and she will not be forgotten.

Whitney Houston - One Wish for Christmas

Whitney Houston's song, "One Wish for Christmas", is a beautiful song. I never heard it until it was posted on Twitter by whitneyfanclub. What a beautiful song to listen to as we think of Christmas. We carry Whitney to our Christmas.

Billy Preston - Let It Be

There is just something about the song, Let It Be, written by the Beatles and played with the help of Billy Preston. Billy Preston also sung the song in concert. As I think about this song, I think about both Whitney Houston and my mother. My mother and I both dreamed the song on the same night one night while we were sleeping. Little did I know that my mother would someday leave me. God tells me that there is a blessing in her death, but I don't see it now. In order to see, I have to let her death be. When I think about my mother, Whitney, and Billy too, I'm hoping somewhere down the road we will all meet and we will greet. I believe that God took them all at a time or the moment when they were saved.

From YouTube
From ABC
As I watched Whitney play piano in an inter-view with Diane Sawyer, I saw that she could be a great piano player. As I watch Billy Preston play, I think of Whitney.

Stevie Wonder - Whereabouts

YouTube
Stevie Wonder was a good friend of Whitney. They did a song together titled, "We Didn't Know". Nobody seems to have that music video uploaded on YouTube right now. However, someone did upload a video of them singing the song live on Arsenio Hall.

Stevie Wonder sung at Whitney's funeral. After he was finished singing, it made me think of the song that he made titled, "Whereabouts". When I think of Whitney, I think of that song by Stevie. It's a beautiful song.

Natalie Cole - Miss You Like Crazy

YouTube
I remember back in the days when Whitney was younger, Natalie Cole performed with Whitney Houston. Natalie Cole sings, Miss You Like Crazy. It is a love song that she sings about a man. When I listen to the song, I think of it as a song with love for someone I miss. We miss Whitney Houston, and I know Natalie Cole does too. I post this video in memory of Whitney.

Whitney Houston - I Sing Them Right Under My Feet

Singing was Whitney's greatest strength. It was her way of not letting the troubles of this world get her down. Whitney kept on moving no matter what people thought.

I'm going to miss hearing Whitney sing new songs. After every song, I would often wonder what she would sing next and how she would sing it. Whintney did not sing the same way all of the time. However, she told us a lot through her singing and in her interviews just talking. Whitney left us with some words to remember with her voice.

Wished I Could Have Thanked Whitney Houston

I Wish that I could have met Whitney Houston myself. There may have been times when Whitney did not think that anyone appreciated her. I wish that I could see her right now and thank her. However there were people that saw Whitney when she left music and told her that they wanted her back. Now that she's gone, I do not have much left in music. Whitney was our last big icon left singing the best love songs. She stuck with the love songs and did right by doing it. Whitney knew what real music was. The music business try to feed us that sex and strange garbage. They cannot fool the public and brainwash us all. People are still playing Whitney's songs and other oldies by other artists in there homes. I see people in the projects and everywhere at cookouts and parties playing the old songs. Everybody does not want to here strange messages and sex mess. We want to here about love and that's what Whitney gave us. We could feel her music, and I think Miss Gladys Knight summed it up real good in what I am trying to say in her end of the road medley. This is for Whitney.
