Singing: Thinking of a Houston Named Whitney
On My Mind Always

Everybody wants to know what happened to Whitney Houston. That means somebody was paying attention. That means somebody cared. I can hear her voice playing back in my mind.

Whitney Houston Quote: "Is there a misconception of the fact that when we became famous that we have these beautiful perfect lives, and that nothing is ever on a low? ..... Money doesn't make you happy."

All the time that Whitney was talking, how well did we listen? She was letting us know she was just a human being with ups and downs like you and I. I wish that I could have sat down and had a conversation with Whitney as a friend. I never got the chance to meet her, and now that she's gone, I've seen her maybe once or twice in my dreams. It kind of soothes the sorrow, but it still hurts if you know what I mean. .....

No Matter What the World May Say, My Feelings Don't Change About Whitney

WIkipedia.org
People write books about Whitney Houston, and they tell you about the Whitney they knew. Yea, I read them. I read her mom's book, her friend BeBe Winans's book, and a little bit of Robyn Crawford's book. Maybe they all felt that we needed to know more about Whitney Houston the human being. Well, I already knew that Whitney was a human being, but I didn't have her soul, and I didn't know what she was going through. I didn't know what was truly bothering her and what led her to her mistakes. But I can tell you this, I forgive her, because I know I'm no better than she. Like her, I'm a human being that was brought up in the word of the Lord, and I'm not perfect either. Parents make mistakes some too in raising us and we should forgive them. None of us are without fault, and we are all born in sin. Only Jesus Christ was not born in sin and according to him, there is none good but God

Mark 10:18  And Jesus said unto him, Why callest me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. Jesus also mentioned that the father was greater. St. John 14:28 ..for my father is greater than I.

Movies and documentaries are being made about Whitney. Everybody is giving their opinion and writing stories. All that is fine for those that loved Whitney's music and are her biggest fans. Some of us that are fans have every picture of her on the wall, every album that she ever made, and every movie that she ever made. But not all fans are the same. I don't have any of her pictures on the wall. It wasn't allowed, and to be honest, I don't have her albums, but I have recorded her videos in the past when I learned what a VCR was. I was raised not to put a celebrity above God and not everybody has been raised that way. However, like any other fan, I loved hearing Whitney Houston sing. So I'm no different there. There is nothing wrong with that. I loved watching her videos. I always wanted to meet her, and I never cared much about what was going on in her personal life and the gossip about her dealing with problems in my own life. I was talked about too. I just wasn't known all over the world like Whitney.

No matter what the world may say about Whitney Houston, my feelings don't change about her. I love Whitney Houston, and I hope to see her one day in heaven.

Whitney's Fans Are Still Investigating

Wikipedia.org
The whole story about how Whitney died just doesn't make any sense to anyone. Whitney's death has everyone talking, studying, and investigating. First of all, everybody that was in and near Whitney's room should have been questioned and in court. That's how it would have been done if it were some other person. They wouldn't have looked at it as just someone drowning or someone that had been doing drugs. Whitney Houston was a star, and whether she was on drugs or not, they should have investigated further. There are people that kill people when it comes to drugs, and they go on killing if they can get away with murder. Why was Whitney Houston murdered if she was murdered? Most people think it was for money.

Not knowing what really happened, there are some angry fans blaming Pat Houston and her family. They are angry at Whitney's brother Gary. I think the documentary titled Whitney made people think more about who was with and around Whitney and why she was left alone after she died. The fans don't understand how the lady that was with Whitney found that the water was turned off. Who turned it off? Why was she in the tub when it was told Whitney didn't take baths in hotels?

If Whitney was murdered, the truth is going to come out. It is going to be clearly seen because somebody knows what really happened to Whitney Houston.

Whitney Behind the Scenes With TLC

YouTube
Whitney Houston had no sisters, but she had a lot of them in the entertainment world. She seemed to be having fun behind the scenes of this video "I'm Every Woman" with the group TLC. When I first saw the video, I thought, "Wait a minute! They look familiar! I know them girls!"

Whitney had a lot of familiar looking talented people in her video. I thought, "Whitney has got a big crew of people in this video. She's throwing down on this one. She ain't playing!"

I could see the purpose of having so many girls and women in the video. After all, Whitney was singing, "I'm Every Woman."  I saw Chaka Khan who first sang the song, Valerie Simpson, and more.

Looking behind the scenes, you can see Whitney giving TLC a whole lot of love, and they all seemed like close sisters just having a ball. The joy and love was spreading everywhere behind the scenes. "I'm Every Woman" was a very special video. It brought joy to me, and it was fun to watch as well.

How Whitney Saved a Life and Her Dancers Grown Up

Do you remember Whitney Houston's dancers?  Whitney has recognized people and made a difference in their lives. She has done good things that we may not all know she has done. I don't know if Whitney saw herself and how important she was to people. Though I never met her, she was important to me. Hearing Whitney sing, made me want to go on singing, and singing helped me to go on living. I don't know if Whitney felt loved, but people still talk about her and remember her today. So she must have had an impact on some people's lives.

Whitney Houston had some dancers on the stage with her. I remember when they were girls, and they were very talented dancers. They always amazed me how they moved in dancing. How Whitney met them, I do not know. She must have been good at seeking out talent. Whitney knew what was good, and she knew what she wanted. When she wanted to do something or wanted something, she went after it and got it.

One of the dancers is alive today because of Whitney Houston. All of them are alive and well. They took good care of themselves. I'm sure Whitney must have had an influence on them. See what they had to say from The Whitney Vault video.

The Voice In the Rock

When Whitney Houston was alive, she would sing the gospel song, "I Go To The Rock". She could move the audience singing that song. Now that Whitney is not with us, I think of her with God and still singing better than before. I think of her as the voice in the rock.
