Did Whitney Want The World To See "Can I Be Me" Documentary?

YouTube/ShowTime
According to Wikipedia, Whitney: Can I Be Me is a 2017 British-American documentary film that was written, co-produced and co-directed by Nick Broomfield. The film's subject is the life and career of singer Whitney Houston.

Using Whitney Houston's death on February 11, 2012 as a starting point, the documentary investigates Houston's history and her emotional connections with her family and friends. The film uses archive footage from Houston's 1999 World Tour mixed with testimonies from Houston's family, friends and musicians who worked with her.

Did Whitney know that the footage of her tour was going to be turned into a documentary? Did Whitney want her fans to know that she was having some problems? I think she did or else she would have never let someone film her crying in her dressing room. But whether or not she knew that it would be used as a documentary, I don't know.
Robyn Crawford had been Whitney's friend for years, and one of the friends the documentary mentioned. She was in Whitney's life before she met Bobby Brown. Robyn was someone Whitney knew she could trust, and it must have been hard to let her go. Whitney worked with Robyn it seemed. Her friend seemed kind of intelligent in helping her and in being by her side. However, it is said that Roybn was more than just a friend to Whitney. So after Whitney got married to Bobby Brown, you can see why some changes needed to be made. Whitney became a wife to a man, and her man knew how much love she had for her friend. So naturally, Bobby would be jealous as her husband. I don't believe Robyn wanted to let Whitney go. So if Robyn had not separated herself from Whitney, it might would have eventually been a big major problem. Robyn did right by leaving.
It has been said that Bobby was cheating on Whitney. Today, Bobby is saying that Whitney was cheating on him too. People forget about those marriage vows to all mighty God, and two wrongs don't make a right. I know that Whitney loved God, and that does not mean that she was so perfect. She looked as if she tried to make her marriage work and cared for her husband to try to make things right. Did Bobby love God? I won't say that I cannot tell. A man that loves God would not have done the things that he had done to Whitney. On the day he got married, if he had seen Whitney messing with drugs, he should have steered her in the right direction. If you marry, it is important to marry someone that cares for God. If someone doesn't care for God, they won't care for him or herself. They won't care for you the way that they should.
2 Cor. 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked .......

Sometimes although we know God, it's possible that we still can grow up troubled, and sometimes we do the things we have seen our parents do. Sometimes because we are troubled, we may do things mentally. Life can be very confusing when we don't know why we are troubled or why we do the things we do. If we can find out what is troubling us, maybe we can cope with life better and get the problem solved.

Robyn came into Whitney's life at a time maybe when she didn't have a friend. They got along good together and Whitney held on to that friend. Robyn knew what Whitney needed and how to care, and maybe Robyn needed someone to care too. I don't know how the two of them felt about men when they were young. I don't know if they were even dating guys when they met. But I feel that Whitney did need someone besides her family, and maybe Robyn did too. If they were raised up the way I was raised, girls stayed with the girls and guys  hung with guys. After starting to school, you learned to mingle with everyone. So there may have been something missing in Whitney's life. It's possible that it could have been simply that she needed a sister being the only girl. Maybe she needed someone there to talk to her about her feelings and guide her right. I think we all need that and we don't always have that.

I think it's good that the documentary was made about Whitney. Fans need to see that celebrities are people too. They do not need to idolize them so much that they think they don't make mistakes. Celebrities do not need to be worshipped. God is a jealous God, according to Duet. 6:15. We need to pray for one another, and we are all human beings.
