Rickey Minor the director, Clive Davis the producer, Whitney Houston the singer, and God is so much more.
When the crowd booed Whitney Houston at the Soul Train Awards, I knew that she was God's child. I asked God about it, and he said, "She was a wealthy woman."
Wealth can mean a lot of things in the Lord. Everything we have is a gift from God. Whitney had money, but she also had gifts and talents and maybe some hidden abilities too. Maybe she had things she didn't know she had. Maybe she could do some things she didn't know she could do.
Although Whitney Houston had trials, I'm glad that she knew the Lord, and that she was seeking him. It's not easy in the spotlight of the world.
Whitney had fame and fortune, but all the glory and the honor and the praise belongs to God. We can't out live him, and we can't live without him.
Whitney said before she left us, "I'm gonna go see Jesus."
Yes, it was in God's plan. It was in God's plan
