When I first heard Whitney Houston sing Greatest Love of All, I had a hard time learning how to sing some parts. I had forgotten that I heard George Benson sing Greatest Love of All on the Muhammad Ali movie. I wish I had remembered his version trying to learn her version.
Whitney had talent because she made a song sound as if it was totally new and different keeping the same tune. I thought The Greatest Love of All was a brand new song. But George’s version was good too. It’s just a beautiful song. I love both versions.
