The Time TLC Held Arista Hostage

 I heard TLC say themselves that they held Arista hostage. But what really happened to Left Eye? They probably aren’t telling everything if you are trying to connect some dots. It seems like a lot of people are involved when it comes to names like Diddy and Clive. 

People should have been questioned and in court a long time ago. People should have been speaking up all of the time. They let things go too far, and I believe that the people investigating have been knowing all these things being told about the industry. 

Interesting how TLC can now talk and tell the whole world about how they held a company hostage and didn’t get arrested. Funny how they are calling TLC dangerous. How many more have to be dangerous to fight against people in the industry? It gives me an eerie feeling. It doesn’t sound like music business. It sounds like gangster business. 

I enjoyed seeing TLC and Whitney Houston collaboration on the music video for Houston's cover of "I'm Every Woman" in 1993. Now that’s what music business should be about.

There is nothing like seeing Whitney and Natalie sing together. They had perfect harmony singing together. In my opinion, to my ears, Natalie Cole was the best one out of all others that could sing with Whitney besides Whitney’s family, the Winans, and Mariah Carey. I really enjoyed hearing Natalie sing with her the most. They were fun to see and listen to whenever they sang together. Whitney and Natalie left us with great memories. I love the songs they chose to sing together. They sang at the 2000 Grammy Party.

Not many people could sing like Whitney Houston. But Natalie Cole could. Natalie and Whitney sounded great whenever they would sing together. There were some differences in their voices, but they both could hit high and loud and reach the audience. When I heard Natalie singing Whitney’s songs, I could sense Whitney.
I miss both Natalie and Whitney.

He was fired by CBS according to past headlines for  misuse of funds and providing drugs to artists and disk jockeys in the past. It may be no surprise to some about the headlines they see on Clive Davis now and the thoughts and opinions from other celebrities.

We’ve all looked at lyrics as just poetry or a song. I don’t remember ever being affected by a song in a bad way. I knew the Lord. I didn’t let words and ideas take over me. During the time when Chaka Khan sang I’m Every Woman, no one said anything about a song being demonic. Now the word demonic is used so much. When Whitney Houston died, Chaka Khan mentioned the word. Even the hand signs people use are now demonic. Everything is demonic, and if you know and love the Lord, you might not let that bother you. However we do need to be careful because the world is full of evil now more than ever.

Most songs on Whitney’s album were played except two or three I don’t remember. You’re Still My Man was played, and I think it should have been played more. I don’t recall Whitney performing “You’re Still My Man” whenever she appeared on television. She could have in concerts, but I have never been to any of her concerts. 

 You’re Still My Man is an uplifting song for a man missing a woman that he’s apart from. From a woman that he knows still loves him, and the song is good for the woman too if she feels like the lyrics said.

I love what Whitney did. It makes me wonder if she really wanted to be a preacher. I believe she needed to be one because she would act as if she were one on stage. I believe Whitney Houston had more than the gift of singing. .....

Whitney had church power in her voice. It was something that a lot of other singers didn’t have. She dint have to make it the way that they made it. And when she performed, all she had to do was walk up and down the stage, and the audience was still moved by her singing, but not only that, she moved up the stairway and down the stairs 🎶. And every time she went up the stairs, she knew she had to pray. She was in the spotlight of the world. And while Whitney was on top, the people wanted to boo. The craziest thing. So there were times when she came down the stairs wanting a break and to get away from the stage. And it wasn’t because she didn’t do a great job singing......Now she's got us moving up the stairway and down the stairs ..

When Whitney Houston Called Bobby Brown the Original R&B King

 

They thought it was ridiculous when Whitney Houston called her husband the original R&B King. They thought Whitney had bumped her head, Well, maybe he was to her, and she knew what Bobby could do. She lived with him, and she knew about singing. When it comes to music, there are many kings and queens in their own way. In my opinion, Bobby Brown was the Hip Hop R&B King at the time if not R&B King. 

Whitney knew Bobby more than any critic, and I don’t think she was really wrong about Bobby. She knew what he had in him. After all, Bobby was her husband. I don’t know if he ever sang songs to her when they were alone. I’m sure Whitney knew some things about Bobby the critics didn’t know. Whitney had been around voices and talent all of her life. She also had good sense when she wanted to have it. Maybe sometimes they saw her acting a little crazy, but Whitney had sense.

When Whitney called Bobby Brown the original R&B king, maybe she saw that he could be. Maybe she could see that he had that in him when nobody else could. She might have been a little right about it considering how well he sang Ain’t No Sunshine on the show Masked Singer. Bobby sang like he never sang before. He sang from his heart and soul. He sang with feeling.

Whitney Houston Called Him the Original R&B King

The instant I heard Bobby Brown sing the first words of Ain’t No Sunshine, I knew it was the song for him and his voice. He really sang from the heart. Out of all the years I’ve heard him sing, hearing him sing Ain’t No Sunshine really made me listen to him the most. Bill Withers sang it well, but there was just something about Bobby’s voice that made the song  sound so touching. It all goes back to what Whitney Houston said. She called Bobby the original R&B King. She was married to him and knew him. There was nothing wrong and nothing weird about what Whitney said.
