For about the third time, somebody keeps taking down the gospel of Whitney. One of the songs is Yes, Jesus Loves me. When I want to come to my blog and listen as I write, sometimes I want to hear it or see Whitney perform it. The devil is busy. Whitney is gone and she’s still got him walking up and down to and fro. For some reason, though she’s gone, he ain’t satisfied. He still mad. 😏

I know that Whitney is gone. I know for sure that my mom is gone because I saw her die. But why do I feel from God that it's not over yet? He doesn't like for me to say that my mom is gone. He didn't want me to worry about the death of Whitney. Well, all I can say that in God there is always hope. We've got to trust and believe in him. We don't know what God might do. Whitney and Dottie Rambo
| From YouTube |
I believe that Whitney was made for Gospel. I believe that God allowed her to sing decent love songs too without taking away her gift to make great hits and albums. People loved Whitney's Gospel even though she sung pop or R&B. I think it was accepted more from her than other singers like Sam Cook. People just loved Whitney no matter what she sung. She was allowed to do both. I may be wrong, but it seemed like the gospel audiences were harder and strict in Sam Cook's day on whether you sung gospel or rock-n-roll. The Gospel audience as well as the rock-n-roll audience accepted Whitney.
