Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Akon Remix

From YouTube
Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, and Akon are remixed. "HOLD MY HAND", and "MY LOVE IS YOUR LOVE". However, I have heard of a better version of this remix. It seems as if Whitney and Michael are singing more of the chorus, Hold My Hand, together in this version. It seems like one song. You don't get to hear the chorus from Whitney's song.  It seems like Whitney's song was made to be Michael's song. In the better version, I have heard the chorus of Whitney's song mixed with the chorus from Michael's song and the whole 9 yards.

Whitney Houston and Why Fans Cried

To those fans that cried over Whitney, it is because you had some kind of care in your heart for her. It is as simple as that. It's okay to cry. (John 11:35) Jesus wept.

There are comments online from fans that say they couldn't stop crying over Whitney Houston when she died. Some people are very cold towards those fans in comments and towards Whitney's death. Some of them don't care anyway and make fun of everything until troubles come their way. Some were too busy fault finding. Some have issues that so many cried over Whitney and no one seems to be crying over starving children. Well we can reach out to some of them and keep some of them from dying. There are people helping them. So it's not true that nobody seems to care about them. Whitney was just a human being like you and I. Were you there to tell her about God? Do you know about God? We need to shut up when we are not trying to pick people up. Whitney did know to seek God in her time of troubles and wanted to be with him. I'm sure God was listening to her heart and was glad that she was still seeking him regardless of her problem. So there is hope that we might see Whitney in heaven. We can only hope for the best. People just need to stop judging one another and stop putting labels on one another. I do not care how bad a person may seem, we are not right for judging according to the Bible (Matt. 7:1). God made her and no one can grade her.

Whitney had a rough time after she was addicted to drugs. That can happen to you and I just taking a strong pill for pain. I'm sure there are folks that would point a finger and judge our lives too. Don't' think that it can't happen to good old you. You don't have to be famous. People need to stop hating and start praying for one another. It does not matter who or what you are. It does not matter if you are rich or poor. It does not matter to God because he is there for us all. We are all human beings and are going to die one day. We are going to turn back to the dust. (Ecclesiastes 3:20) All go to one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.

Of course, many cried over Whitney because her music became part of their lives and entertainment. We knew her name, we knew her face, and some of us hoped that we could meet her some day. I didn't expect her to care about me because I know that she didn't know that I existed anyway. If I had written her a letter, she probably never would have gotten it. If it had been a letter about how much I loved her music, I would have been just another fan. Maybe she would have written some of us back if we had written her as a friend. Maybe she would have gotten the letters. Some of us truly cared and saw Whitney as a human being. There is a big difference between a fan and someone that cares. Whitney did things of this world and not everything she did was bad in it. We all live in this world and is a part of this world. That is what God intended. It's when things take over your soul away from God that is bad. That is what worldly means. We all have problems and addictions. However, when you stop seeking and loving God, you are lost when you don't know Jesus. Whitney knew him.

A Comic Story about the Media and Whitney Houston

It is said that Whitney was always upset with the tabloids. Fans that have not met Whitney Houston would have been able to see on the other side if they had. We only get to see what television and radio and newspapers have said about her. I can see me now if I had known Whitney.....

Live Hollywood Media (Television): Today, at this very moment, we see Whitney Houston on the beach with her new boyfriend. Who is this guy and what does he do? They say he's very protective and is a billionaire.

I begin to call Whitney Houston up on the phone just to see exactly where Whitney is. Whitney answers her phone: Hello!

Gail: Hey Whitney! Where you at? You at the beach? (Hearing Whitney frying something in a frying pan).

Whitney: No, Girl! I'm home cooking breakfast watching Young and the Heartless.

Gail: They got you on TV and talking about you at the beach with a new boyfriend that is a billionaire.

Whitney: Girl, that ain't me. What you watching? What channel?

Gail: It's something called Live Hollywood Media on channel 2.

(Whitney Turns to the channel) Whitney: Girl, I wish that was me with him.

Gail: Sure do look like you on the side of the face with that big hat.

Whitney: Ain't me. And since that program is suppose to be live, why come I ain't talking to you on the phone on TV? You always watching some mess. Turn from there. See, that's how lies get out.

Celebrate From the Motion Picture, Sparkle

From Video Celebrate
The way Whitney is looking in the movie, "Sparkle", is like seeing her watch the video, "Celebrate". Looks like the video should have been made long before Whitney passed away, but they had to do it without Whitney. Jordin Sparks kept moving along. However, having Whitney in the movie with Jordin should be even better. So Whitney fans, count your blessings.

Whitney Houston and Awards

From Extreme Hollywood E!
There are some things that Whitney has done for people that she probably didn't mention. If she didn't mention it, it most likely came from the heart. After her death, I heard a few people say that Whitney helped them. It was not always somebody that was already famous that she helped.

Hebrews 6:10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which you have showed toward his name, ......

Most of the time, we saw Whitney rising high in fame and winning awards. I have never seen any one receive so many in one night like Whitney. At the time that she received them, it probably meant a lot to her. Then she began to have some hardships because what man gives you doesn't last forever. Man will take from you. He will put you down and criticize you. He will lift you up one minuet and put you down the next minuet. Man will forget about you and all the good that you have done. The things of man are not real like the things of God. What God has to offer is greater than what man has to offer. What he gives you will always mean something to you, and it will never go away in heaven. God will always love you. He's got a love that will last forever.

Matt. 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust does corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

Whitney Mentoring Contestants

From YouTube
Whitney was a great voice mentor on singing. Those contestants she mentored had a lot of guts to sing in front of her and Clive Davis. I never would have done it unless it was my own song. If you can sing your own songs, people listen more for your voice instead of somebody else's voice. Whitney was a little tough with one contestant that sung one of her songs. He didn't do too bad. Whitney let another contestant know that he had to know what he was doing to sing an Aretha Franklin song. That's why Whitney and Clive never would have heard me sing if it had to be a song by someone else.

Regardless of how many times Whitney lost her voice, it did not affect the knowledge that she had on singing. She could have helped others to do big things if she had retired from singing. It is said Whitney had her own management company named Nippy Inc. She probably knew enough to be her own producer and promoter. With all of the hardships Whitney had, seeing the gossip written about her on front pages, she was still walking around wearing the crown. I don't know how much she knew about that. She was making a come back and was doing so well. I just wish that Whitney had never went to that old Clive Davis Party. If it had been up to me, if I were Whitney's friend, the party would have been at her house with family love and care.

Remembering David Ruffin Jr. When Whitney Died

Google Image
When Whitney was pronounced dead, I remember talking with David Ruffin Jr. on Twitter. He is the son of David Ruffin of the Temptations. David Jr. was hurting. He was trying to find out how and why Whitney died. I asked him did he ever meet Whitney. David never got back to me, and I figured he was hurting. Usually he would answer. I was hurting too. Whitney's death upset a lot of people. If she is looking down from heaven, she can see fans she had that she probably didn't know that she had. It would have been nice if David Jr. and Whitney could have made a duet together. You would have heard David Ruffin the father back from the dead singing with Whitney. Trust me. I believe David Jr. would have understood Whitney, and they probably would have been the best of friends. He sings his father's song, "I Wish It Would Rain". Whitney is gone away. I post David Jr. in Memory of Whitney.

Patti LaBelle feat. Whitney and Others

From YouTube
Someone uploaded a great video of Patti LaBelle feat. Whitney Houston and other artists. It is the song, "If Only You Knew" by Patti that everybody loves to hear and sing. I especially love the way Whitney was added in this video. She was added at the beginning and near the end.

Aretha's Tribute to Whitney

From YouTube
Aretha sings, "The Greatest Love of All" in memory of Whitney Houston. Although I've heard Whitney's way of singing it so many times, I have to stop to listen to Aretha sing it too. Aretha sung it her way and soulful. Still, I can't forget the way Whitney sung it. All that practicing that Whitney did singing Aretha's songs brought out the best in Whitney.

Whitney Houston MJ Tribute

From YouTube
Look at what we lost. I didn't know Whitney could imitate Michael Jackson so well in singing. She didn't bother with his dance moves much. Whitney showed a little bit of him in hand motion. Ha! Ha! Ha! The girl had it going on yall. This concert should have been all over television. Michael and Whitney were friends. I did not know that until her death. Well, Whitney and Michael are both gone now. To me, the best music is gone with them. They were the real talent.

Whitney Houston and Sunday

Google Image
Whitney liked helping young people. She paid attention to Brandy, Monica, and then recognized a group called Sunday. I believe that they could have been as big as Destiny's Child. I don't know what happened to them, and I don't know why they stopped singing. Soul Train came on television a lot, and that's where I remember seeing them.

When I think about Whitney looking back at the past, she was turning out to be a big business woman. Her singing career was her job, but she was a black woman that had the mind for business. There wasn't anything wrong with Whitney's mind. She just needed to make up her mind that she was going to straighten up and get her act together. Whitney just made some bad choices in life and probably didn't have the right encouragement. She was around the wrong people. Wish I could have been there with Whitney, but we probably would have been arguing though. I would have been straight up with her because lying to her would have got her where she is right now today. If somebody would have just told her the truth, she might would have been alive today. Then again, maybe somebody did. All I know, I'm hurt about Whitney because I see that Whitney had a gift  to help people in a lot of ways. It wasn't just about Whitney. She was helping people. That's why I believe it wasn't meant for Whitney to go. Not many people can get as far as Whitney got. It ain't easy, and she was blessed.

Whitney Houston I Wanna Dance With Somebody Remix With Michael Jackson

From Concert Constitution Hall
Whitney would sing her song, "I Wanna Dance With Somebody".  That was another song that was truly Whitney. She loved dancing. When I saw her in one of her concerts dancing with Bobby Brown, that's when I began to realize that Whitney was a dancer. She just needed somebody to bring that dancer out of her. Just because Whitney didn't dance much while singing didn't mean that she couldn't dance. The dancer was in her, and I could tell.

Did you know that Whitney could mock Michael Jackson singing? I heard her singing some of his songs on YouTube from one of her concerts. She sounds just like him. Whitney and Michael could have made some songs together. He might would have taught her some dance moves. Whitney was so fly. She was cool in style. If some people couldn't see it, I don't know why.

The Remix of Whitney and Michael

From YouTube

Here is a remix of Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. It is Rock With You and Dance With Somebody.

Whitney Houston Acapella

I like to hear Whitney Houston sing acapella, "I'm Every Woman". I like the studio sound with her voice. Whitney had an awesome group of background singers always.

Listening to some of the lyrics in, "I'm Every Woman", I get kind of tickled at Whitney. She sings: I ain't braggin'
Cause I'm the one.
Just ask meeeee.
oo, It shall be done.

Well, to me, Whitney was singing about herself when she sung this song. She said she ain't braggin', but in the song, she is yall. And if you did ask her for a favor, it is said by her friends that she would help you. This song is Whitney. That's probably why she could sing it so well. When Whitney was alive, I got a kick out of seeing Whitney's Hollywood ways because she was the one. The Hollywood Whitney was the only Whitney I knew. I wish I could have known her as a person.

She sings: Put fire inside of you.
Anytime you feel danger or fear,
Then instantly
I will appear 'cause.

That verse makes me think about when she played the godmother in Cinderella with Brandy. I wish Whitney could appear to her fans. I want to see her one more time. I never got a chance to meet her. I miss Whitney. I believe she was my kind of person that I would have loved to have as an older sister.

Whitney Houston - Moment of Truth

From A Moment of Truth
John Houston: .....I think it did take away a lot of her youthful fun time....Whitney had disappeared and I went to look for her. I found her out around the dance floor, and I heard a voice calling me. And she was saying, "Daddy! Daddy! Guess what! I was dancing, Daddy! I was dancing!" I almost cried because right there I realized that all of the things that young people do, she had not the opportunity to do before then. ( From A Moment of Truth Italian TV Special).

My Opinion: It is important that children growing up have some freedom. If not, it might lead them to be wild as they get older. I think my mother saw that and allowed me to have my freedom growing up. Sometimes she still got on my case about dancing too much in my young days. She would say, "Sit down girl! Every time I turn around, you are shaking that behind. Turn that boogaloo off!" Now, since I have been older, I hardly dance much any more. If I had not been able to be a child, I would be crazy right now. I found out that my mother did the same thing when she was young. She danced too.

Why Do We Judge Whitney Houston?

Why do we judge Whitney Houston? Some people want to know if she's in heaven or hell. If God was really angry with our entertainment, he would not only punish Whitney who sung decent love songs, but probably would punish us too for supporting her and listening to her. A lot of Christians were raised up strictly by the law until they think everything is a sin. They think it is a sin to dance, a sin to sing old fashion love songs, and they really do not enjoy life like they want to. God does not want us to live unhappy in that way. I think we misunderstand a lot of things about God and the Bible. Yes, we still need to be careful in what we do because there are some things that we know is not right. If you dance naked having sex with everyone, yes, then it is a sin. It is a sin to listen to filth on the radio. I know for myself that there are things that God is not pleased with, but he never said that we could not listen to love songs. He made people to fall in love didn't he? So what is wrong with singing about love? True love is not a sin, and I do not think it is wrong to write and sing about it. God is the creator of love. Yes, we are suppose to give God praise, and he comes first. We are suppose to worship him. Some things are not necessarily a sin, but we can make a good thing a sin. Eating too much can be a sin. Being greedy is not good. We can over do things and indulge in things too much until it becomes a god. There is idolatry, lust, and adultery in our world which God hates. People worship things like jewelry and material things, but he never said that it was a sin to be rich. God is the one that blesses us in the first place, but we turn around and let things change us for the worst.

Before you judge, stop and think. Remember what Jesus said. (John 8:7) He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. Yes, Whitney had a drug addiction. What is your addiction? No addiction is good for your health. Stop smoking those cigarettes, cut back on that salt, and stop eating rare meats. Make sure your food is well done. We have a lot of vampires out there. Stop watching those sex tapes. And remember, all sin is sin.

Whitney Houston Sings, "He, I Believe"

From YouTube
Whitney sings, He, I Believe, in concert live (1987). It is a beautiful gospel song and I enjoyed Whitney singing it. I love her acapella, and I love when the piano kicks in.

Whitney Houston - CBC Interview

From CBC
Did anyone notice that something was wrong with Whitney Houston in an interview with CBC in 1998? They said she was angry. However, we never see all the details. Somebody did something. Somebody was messing with Whitney. She said that she was not in the wrong business, but around the wrong people. Sounds like to me it was all of it and that business needs cleaning up. I think Whitney should have stayed away from it after she got out of it the first time. If show business is bad as people say, why are the people still rolling? Why are they still involved in it as they complain? They need to count their money in the bank and head on out of show business. I have seen a lot of celebrity mug shots of celebrities wide eyed and crazy looking? Something is not right. It's too many of them. They all have a bad image. They all go to rehab and never in jail. Maybe it's not drugs. Maybe it's money and fraud. Whatever it is, it needs to stop before something dreadful happens. People are always talking about the curse of Satan. Wait until you see the curse of God. It's worse than the curse of Satan. God could wipe out Hollywood altogether himself if he gets angry enough. He's a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29).

Whitney Houston - My Love Is Your Love

From Wikipedia
My Love is Your Love was a studio album released in 1998. That is the year I think my mother first found out that she was sick. A bad turning point was happening in her life although she loved God and did all she could to live for him. It was a time where I was beginning to learn that God is just ready for some people. Sometimes it's not a curse. It is just in God's will no matter how much evil is around. Sometimes it is for God's glory, and we are not ready for death.  But Jesus prayed to God and said, "I pray not that you should take them out of the world, but that you should keep them from the evil (John 17:15)." Whitney, You, and I were prayed for before we were born.

My mother pointed out Whitney's Lyrics to me from her song, My Love is Your Love. I remember her speaking when Whitney sung  this verse in  her video:

If I should die this very day
Don't cry, cause on earth we wasn't meant to stay
And no matter what the people say
I'll be waiting for you after Judgement Day

'Cause your love is my love
And my love is your love
It would take an eternity to break us
And the chains of Amistad couldn't hold us

Before Whitney got to the end of the song, my mother said, "Whitney is singing that song like she's going to die or something."

I said, "No, mama, that's not it, I don't think. She is just singing a song."

"I don't know, Gail. There is something about the words and the way she's singing it."

A Threat to Satan

My mother always had strong feelings about people and things. An average person can only see what is in front of them, but a spiritual person in the Lord can see and feel beyond. I know for a fact that my mother was a big threat to Satan. I believe that Whitney was a threat to him too. A lot of us are, but don't let Satan scare you. Do what God tells you to do, and there is no way you will be harmed. Satan is just a man. (Isaiah 14:16)  "They that see you (Satan) shall narrowly look on you, and consider you, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;..." Don't give into sin. It is the life of Whitney Houston that speaks as well as her death. There were things that Whitney would not do and things that Whitney did not believe in doing. She was the child of God. Some judge and say that it is her fault what happened to her, but we do not always see the whole picture. We do not know a person's soul inside and out. We are not God. Satan is our accuser. 1 Peter 5:8  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour:

Satan is very jealous of everyone. He is nobody's friend. Satan will work with people that serve him for a while, but when they start looking better than him, he is ready to destroy them. All the people that do not serve him, he is defiantly worried about them and how to get them. We may find ourselves doing things that is not in our hearts at all. That is when we need to pray harder and Whitney knew. That is why she studied her Bible and prayed. The world is full of tricks. We sometimes get into things we think is alright and may not be alright. That is why we need to stay alert and stay in our Bibles and be careful of whom and what we let in our lives.

Satan is in music and was in charge of the heavenly choir in heaven when his name was Lucifer. He is in some of our churches. Whitney may have been an enemy to him. He heard her singing and saw how people loved her music. That made him mad. Satan may have known a weakness Whitney had. Though she thinks everything is her fault, maybe somebody actually did some things to Whitney for her life to turn out the way it did and maybe she didn't know it.  Like I said, we do not see everything and God has great mercy and sees everything. Everybody is not messed up because they did something to themselves. It's not always what you see. I learned this from God. He knows who is in fault. The right ones will be punished.

When Whitney died, I felt my love for her. I had love I didn't know that was there because I never met her. She's right when she said Your Love Is My Love. God is the author of Love. God is love and his love is in us. We should love one another.

Whitney Houston - Help Is on the Way

From Movie Preacher's Wife
Whitney sung a gospel song, "Help is on the Way".  If you love the Lord, you hope to see him again. When he comes again, we will see everyone. The Lord's help is always there, and will visit you anytime you need him. The Lord is always listening. He can see fans mourning over Whitney. John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

The Lord was always with Whitney. He let me know as I watched Whitney that people have trials and tribulations. If Whitney is with the Lord right now, just think that he is with you too as you think of her. God will give you peace.  Keep talking and praying to God. Your help is on the way. You will get your answer from the Lord. It might be an answer you might not even expect. And remember, there is nothing that God can't do. Just have faith.

A Fan Shares Her Thoughts about Whitney Houston

From CBS News
A fan says: Old School Whitney, The Greatest Love of All, the verse where she said, I decided long ago
Never to walk in anyone's shadow
If I fail, if I succeed
At least I live as I believe
No matter what they take from me
They can't take away my dignity....

And even right now as the nation is mourning her loss,
regardless of we all have a past. And no one can judge except for God. And regardless of what she's going through, I want people to remember her music. Her legacy. And no one can ever take that away from her. She will always be dignified as one of the true legends of music. (From CBS News).

Whitney and Bobbi - You'll Never Stand Alone

From YouTube
Have you heard Whitney Houston's, "You'll Never Stand Alone"? It's a beautiful song. I have seen Whitney's background singers sing in the background singing this song. It sounds as if Bobbi Kristina (Whitney's Daughter) is singing in the background. If it's not Bobbi on the record, there is one voice in the background that suits her face. Whitney made this single just right. Although this song was made before 2012, it is made for even now. Love is standing by. Like Bobbi's mother, my mother left me to be with Jesus too. Bobbi is waiting to see her mom again, and she's not alone. I'm waiting to see my mom too. Other folks are waiting to see their loved ones. We are not alone. Bobbi, you'll never stand alone. Those that are on the other side that have left us behind are waiting for us too.
We can't give up. They are counting on us. Keep on moving. We will get there when it is time.

Wished I Could Have Thanked Whitney Houston

I Wish that I could have met Whitney Houston myself. There may have been times when Whitney did not think that anyone appreciated her. I wish that I could see her right now and thank her. However there were people that saw Whitney when she left music and told her that they wanted her back. Now that she's gone, I do not have much left in music. Whitney was our last big icon left singing the best love songs. She stuck with the love songs and did right by doing it. Whitney knew what real music was. The music business try to feed us that sex and strange garbage. They cannot fool the public and brainwash us all. People are still playing Whitney's songs and other oldies by other artists in there homes. I see people in the projects and everywhere at cookouts and parties playing the old songs. Everybody does not want to here strange messages and sex mess. We want to here about love and that's what Whitney gave us. We could feel her music, and I think Miss Gladys Knight summed it up real good in what I am trying to say in her end of the road medley. This is for Whitney.

Whitney Houston and Kirk Franklin

From YouTube
There were a lot of performances that I did not get to see Whitney do. There were times that I did not have cable TV too. So some things I may have missed. Thanks to YouTube, I can dig up the things I miss and find out from other internet friends. Whitney and Kirk has done a gospel medley together. In 1996, Franklin’s song "Joy" was recorded by Whitney Houston and the Georgia Mass Choir. This performance of Kirk and Whitney was in 1996.

From Wikipedia

Kirk Franklin had an album that was released in 2011 titled, "Hello Fear". I loved the artwork on the Album. There is one song on that album that sounds like it was written just for Whitney. It is called, "I Smile". I'm pretty sure Whitney probably heard it. She probably liked it. I like it, and I post the video in memory of Whitney.

Whitney Houston Said She Was Not Self-Destructive

There were times when the media said that Whitney was high and she was not. Whitney said that she was the biggest devil, but at the same time she said that she was a person that had life and wanted to live. Whitney said that she was not self-destructive. When Whitney had her interview with Diane Sawyer, she may have been telling you the truth. If Whitney was the kind of person that wanted to live and not self-destructive, why was she doing drugs? Could there have been something else going on behind the reason she was doing drugs? You have to listen carefully at people when they are talking. I believe that Whitney was in her right mind as she spoke. I believe there was more than what she was telling. We don't know what happened in Whitney's past. All I know is she did not appear to be on drugs when she first started making records with her mom by her side. Something happened. It seemed whenever things were going great for Whitney, something was there to bring her down. In the beginning, even her marriage looked alright. I don't think Whitney told everything. There was one thing clear. Sometimes entertainment was too much for Whitney and there was stress. It started with the movie, The Body Guard. Why so afraid? Why so stressful? Why was everybody constantly bringing up the name Kevin Costner to Whitney? I think Whitney should have never got into that one particular movie, and I think she should have waited before she got married. I think that things that Whitney didn't get a chance to do when she was young had an affect on her life too. Still, something was not right to me. When Whitney died, all I could remember her saying was that she was not meant to break.

Whitney Houston Sings God Bless America Live

From YouTube
From YouTube
Whitney Houston sung, God Bless America, live at a boxing match in 1999. I never saw it until now. She appeared so bold and confident. Whitney had the appearance of an important woman. She did not appear shy of people. If Whitney did not know everyone, she acted as if she did. It looked as if she was not afraid to sing and was not nervous at all of performing in front of crowds.

Whitney was wearing her favorite color, and she was not sweating in this video. She had no handkerchief. Whitney did a great job performing God Bless America. Some people only remember Whitney Houston in her last days. Don't forget what she was like in the beginning. If you knew how Whitney was in the beginning, then you can see her and not demons. Demons wanted her to think that she was the worst. They attacked Whitney's voice, her appearance, and everything that they could. The demons were jealous of her voice and beauty. They knew she was the child of God or else they would not have bothered her.

2 Corinthians 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

If Whitney could come back to sing for us, she would probably sing, God Bless the Whole World. I think we all have that thorn in the flesh. According to the Bible, Christ suffered and was also tempted. Temptations to sin are painful as thorns. I think Whitney is a better person now with Christ.

In 2007, after leaving a divorce hearing, Whitney had everybody laughing. Seeing her in this video has me laughing on a full stomach. My left and right side is hurting. Whitney laughed at a camera man from CelebrityTV.com crew when he took a playful tumble but was not hurt. I love hearing Whitney laugh. It is very catching like a disease. In other words, when she laughs, it spreads all over to everyone. Whitney laughed at the Paparazzi like the wicked witch from Wizard of Oz. Listen to the beginning of her laughter. She laughed so hard, everybody around her was laughing.

On the serious side, the Paparazzi gave Whitney a hard time in her life. They were like a bunch of men waiting in the soup line dying and hungry to get something for gossip. The Paparazzi lived for this kind of stuff and they will die trying to get it.  The Paparazzi are the ones that helped to make her life miserable. Whitney needed a good laugh, and she deserved it.

Whitney Houston - He's All Over Me

From YouTube

Whitney Houston chose to do a gospel album. I believe she feared God in doing so.

Colossians 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men:...

Whitney Houston's Surprise Duet

From YouTube
Whitney once sung one of her songs with a fan on stage. It was I Will Always Love You. It was a surprise duet. The girl that sung with Whitney was so shocked when Whitney appeared. She didn't sound bad singing with Whitney. Whitney had years of practice that's all.The girl singing with her needed more practice, and she sounded a whole lot younger. Her voice sounded good with Whitney's voice. I believe she could be a greater singer. She didn't do bad at all.

Whitney liked helping people. If Whitney wanted a long break from singing, she cold have hired singers under her record label, Better Place Records. Then she could have been in charge, and people could have made her money instead, LOL. I believe that Whitney had the potential to be a producer as well as a singer. She could have given voice lessons too. It is in her mother to train, so I know that it was in Whitney.

Whitney Houston_Watchulookinat

YouTube
Whitney made a video and song titled, "Watchulookinat". Yea, I looked at Whitney sometimes in joy and laughter. Sometimes I looked at Whitney kind of sad, and I am still looking. I wished that I could have been there for her in the bad times.

My mom looked very concerned when she was alive seeing Whitney. She said to me, "Something's going on with that child."
My mother was not looking at the fact that Whitney was a celebrity either. She saw beyond Whitney's drug addiction, but she would not tell everything she thought she could sense. My mother looked at Whitney as if she was her own kin at the moment she was concerned. She cared, but I just knew Whitney was going to be alright. Seeing my mother look with concern, I knew Whitney's mom had more concern. Everybody was lookin', but not everybody hated Whitney either. Everybody was talking about Whitney. She had some enemies after her maybe, but some people were praying for her too. Seeing the concerned look on my mother's face kind of had me worried. When my mother knew something was terribly wrong, something was wrong. We both knew that Whitney was not herself sometimes. I was a whole lot younger back then.

Today, thinking of Whitney's death, I can see and understand my mother's concern even more. What I am feeling now, my mother was probably feeling long ago about Whitney. After Whitney's death, I thought about some of the peculiar ways my mother had about speaking out. Sometimes she kept her feelings to herself, and I think God showed my mother something on her sick bed about the entertainment world. My mother saw people in trouble and was led to speak about things when it was time. She was another soul that left this world too soon.

As I sat looking at an old film on Whitney getting baptized in Israel in the Jordan River, I could feel a strange feeling that something did not want me to watch it. So I stopped watching. This was after Whitney's death. Whitney asked a good question when she asked Watchulookinat.

[Chorus:]
Why you lookin' at me
Don't get mad at me
'Cause I'm still gonna be me
(Tell me, Tell me, Tell me)
Whatchulookinat
(Tell me, Tell me, Tell me)
Whatchulookinat
I feel your eyes on me
You been telling lies on me
(Tell me, Tell me, Tell me)
Whatchulookinat
(Tell me, Tell me, Tell me)

See I don't understand
Why you keep peepin' me
When you don't even like me
You're after me and my man
Don't think you're stressing me
'Cause your lies don't excite me, no no

(Never thought)
Never thought, Never thought
(Never knew)
Never knew that you would do this to me
Do this to me
(Try to ruin me) Ruin me
(Be my enemy) Be my enemy
(Never thought)
Never thought, Never thought, Never thought
(That you) That you
Would act as if you're cool with me
So why you lookin' at me

Whitney and Bobby Brown

From Bobby Brown's Video Feelin' Inside
You might be wondering why I never write anything about Bobby Brown. Well, to tell you the truth, I really don't know what to say about him. When you think you know the celebrities, you really don't. All I know, and this is no joke, Whitney shook up the world when she chose to marry Bobby. I thought to myself, " I was way off about Whitney's taste in men." I looked at my mother and said, "Ma! Guess who Whitney Houston is going to marry!"

My mom asked, "Who?"

I said, "Bobby Brown! I can't believe it! Why would she want to marry him?  What does she see. I can't see it."

My mother said, "I don't know. Well, that's who she wants to marry. She see something good in him, I guess."

One of my friends from high school called Whitney champagne and said Bobby Brown was like beer. Everybody had a way to describe Whitney and Bobby being together back then. However, I began to notice that Whitney was so happy. Whitney and Bobby really looked like they loved each other. I was kind of getting use to seeing them together. I was starting to think differently about Bobby. Then I heard that Whitney was having a child by him. I thought, "Maybe he's not that bad."

People said that Bobby was a bad boy. I couldn't tell what his image was anymore. To be honest, I don't know him at all. I didn't know Whitney either because I never thought she would marry Bobby Brown. They were everywhere together and always together it seemed. They even performed together, and I enjoyed that.

This is just an old memory of mine in 1992. That's the year Bobby and Whitney got married. I watched them with my mother.

Now it is 2012.  I spend time with my father since my mother is gone. We were looking at Whitney and Bobby dance together in her concert performing at Constitution Hall, Washington D.C. My father said, "They look like they were doing great together. They should have kept on doing things together like that."

Whitney Houston - A Word from Heaven

From the very beginning when Whitney was pronounced dead, the voice of the Lord spiritually spoke to me and told me not to worry about Whitney's death. I knew it was the Lord because he spoke to me as if he was in charge of everything.

There were other times I could hear a voice speaking to me after that. An angel spoke to me and told me that some things Whitney did not know, and that she made some mistakes. When you have a personal relationship with God, heaven speaks to you about all of the things you want to know.

As I watched Whitney Houston's video, The Greatest Love of All, I heard a voice speaking spiritually saying, "Whitney sung a beautiful song and Whitney was a beautiful woman." At the time I heard that, I was thinking of how Whitney changed a whole lot in looks compared to back then. As I sat watching the video, I listened for the meaning of the song. To me, the greatest love of all is God himself. He is inside of us. That is what made Whitney the greatest and made her beautiful even though she still had faults. The spirit of the Lord told me to forgive Whitney.

You know, heaven do not see things the way the human eye see things. A funeral probably isn't really a funeral to them when a person's soul has made it to heaven. They don't see death up there in heaven the way we see it down here on earth. God knows everything and they (angels, prophets, and saints) knew Whitney. When you get to know God, it's hard to tell whether a person is truly dead or alive because he's all about life. He doesn't speak of Whitney being dead to me like people on earth would. We watched Whitney Houston, and we watched her funeral, but heaven looked too. God sees everything.

Some people think it's all about Satan when a person has died from drugs and has sung rock and roll. God told me to let him be the judge. Whitney sung in a strange land (Hollywood), and some people think Whitney has died and went to hell. The reason I call Hollywood a strange land is because it is far from church. When Whitney sung the Gospel in Hollywood, God saw. You can carry God everywhere you go, but you can not just bring anything into the church any kind of way. When Whitney Houston sung Gospel in Hollywood, it was probably the best church some people had in Hollywood. Whitney may have helped some people to change for the better.

Sometimes I still feel real sad about Whitney Houston. I told God that I wish that he would let her come back and do more for him. He spoke to me and said that it could happen. God told me that I would have to have faith. I told the Lord that I just feel like Whitney was not finish doing what she was suppose to do. The Lord told me that there are a lot of things that I do not see. I'm pretty sure that is so.

Whitney Houston - One of Those Days

From YouTube
Did anyone pay attention to Whitney Houston's song, "One of Those Days"? It was a song from her fifth album, Just Whitney, in 2002. Maybe some of you didn't pay attention when you first heard it back then, and it was one of those days when you felt different about things in life. It was one of those days when we were getting negative reports about Whitney when we first heard the song, and the song hits your ears better now that she's gone.  Maybe music is not saying too much these days while you hear Whitney's old single. Just maybe the words are hitting your soul just right because today it's one of those days for you.

Whitney is clubbing in the video. When we first saw Whitney, she did not look like the kind of girl that could dance. I really like the video and the words and tune of the song. When I hear Whitney sing the words, One of those days, the words paint a picture of a daydream to my mind.

One of those days
When the sun is shining bright
And my life is going right
And the simple things are not wasted

 One of those days
When you're cruising in your car
And you're out to see the stars
And it's warm outside and beautiful

Whitney Houston and Arsenio Hall - Family Comedy

From YouTube

From YouTube
Let's look back at the happy and fun times of Whitney Houston. It was very nice of Arsenio to let Whitney come on his show as much as he did. Whitney looked as if she felt very comfortable around Arsenio, and she looked as if she felt right at home. I loved seeing them together on the show because there was some jokes and laughter. Arsenio didn't believe that Whitney could cook. On his show through satellite, he showed Whitney in her new home in the kitchen. Arsenio said, " What's in that draw right behind you?"

Whitney said, "This one......this one has pots...in it." I laughed so hard and laughing right now. Then Whitney asked everybody why were they laughing. I don't know if Whitney realized that she had a natural gift for making people laugh.

Arsenio laughed and said, "Because you know you ain't never seen them pots."

Arsenio could have done some acting and comedy with Whitney for his show outside of the studio a little bit. He could have had a few minuets of Whitney and Arsenio comedy time. Whitney would have been famous for saying, "See folks need to mind their business." Arsenio would have been famous for saying, "Whitnnnneeeeyyyy." Bobby Brown, and Whitney's friends BeBe and CeCe could have been involved too.
I miss Whitney's laughter.
