You can say what you want to say, but Whitney Houston was a soul sister. They could never get the story right about her. Saint or sinner. Winner or looser. Even though she was the best, they were always putting her to the test. Whitney was different from the rest.

She didn’t want to leave us. She didn’t volenteer. Whintey was called out. It was time to go home. She was peculiar with her talent. Whitney was strong and could stand alone. She didn’t need competition and wasn’t selfish for herself. Although sometimes I think she should have been because of the way she was treated. Whitney needed to live her life. She needed time to herself. Whitney didn’t try to hurt or take from nobody. She seemed to be a giving person regardless of those demons. Whitney had love. It was just the Prince of power of the air always meddling in our lives. Doing his job.

You know Whitney had a throne. She was the queen, and that old devil was always trying to knock her off. He didn’t want nobody to rule or do nothing because he wants to be the ruler of all. But that’s not what was intended to be. Whitney was born with a purpose. We all are. I don’t know where Whitney is, but if she’s in heaven, she made great headlines up there.

Life is not easy. Whitney was maturing. She had to grow. She was learning things that those tabliod writers didn’t know. The good book or else they wouldn’t have written some of the things that they wrote. We reap what we sow. But all can be forgiven. Whitney kept living until it was time to go. …..

Reporter asked Whitney Houston About Her Funeral and Song She’d Like

I’ve been looking for this video and someone finally posted it. This proves that there ought to be more investigation about Whitney’s death even though nothing might not have been wrong. A reporter wanted to know what song would she like played at her funeral. Why would he ask that question? It was asked after the 1994 AMA (American Music Awards).

It was 1979 when I heard Michael Walden’s song, “Tonight I’m Alright”. I didn’t know back then that Michael Walden was Michael Walden. He workded with Whitney Houston. Michael Walden has been a hit record producer, songwriter, artist, and drummer. He produced a great hit for Whitey Houston. Michael wrote, “How Will I Know”. He also worked and wrote for other artists. Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, Tevin Campbell, and Stacy Lattisaw just to name a few. ....

God Gave Me A Voice - Words of Whitney Houston

The accuser had to discredit her in some kind of way. He wanted to harm her good reputation. He couldn’t stand her because she had everything he once had and lost it. The accuser wanted to silence her, but Whitney kept on singing. She sang the gospel too. Read More

Oprah Winfrey's Interview With Whitney - I Still Listen

YouTube

It's hard to let go wondering what really happened to Whitney Houston. I felt like something was going to happen to Whitney, but I wasn't expecting death. I felt it strong in 2001 after loosing my mom. Then the R&B singer Aaliyah died that year. After that, I kind of lost interest in music some, and I didn't keep up with the news much.

Around 2010 or 2011, I searched to see if Whitney was on social media. I found a Twitter account that really might have been Whitney. With doubt, I wanted to write her. Superstars get busy, and they don't write back no how, I thought. I wasn't quite sure if it was Whitney. By the time I made up my mind to write, Whitney was gone with the Lord. The truth is, I cared about Whitney Houston as a human being. I still care.

Today I still watch Oprah Winfrey's interview with Whitney. I'm still listening to the interview. Whitney was a church person, and she knew she had something to do. She just wasn't sure what and was not guided like many of us. Some of us don't even know that we are being called by God.  I think Whitney still helped a lot of people just by singing and God allowed it. Whitney showed us the true way of music altogether. She was a decent singer singing decent songs. Whitney sang both gospel and R&B. She was old fashioned. I don't think God was upset with her music and songs about love, but I'm sure he wasn't pleased with the things that was going on in her life. The Bible said that God's people are peculiar people (1 Peter 2:9).

I believe Whitney was a good person, and if she truly had a heart for God, he saw that. He looks at the heart (1 Sam. 16:7). There are things about Whitney we cannot see and that we do not know. But the Lord knows, and he understands. There were things that bothered Whitney, and she probably didn't even know why some things happened in her life. Some things may not have been her fault. I think she understood better as she got older. The Bible said we would have tribulations (St. John 16:33).
