Whitney Houston Empower and Black Power

YouTube
Most of the time when I think of Whitney Houston, I think of the word Empower. In one of her music videos, she sings words mentioning she learned from the best. She sang with great authority and was very confident. I saw Whitney as a very strong singer and person.

With so much going on in the world right now today from Corona virus to racial problems to protesting and death, I still think of Whitney when I tune in into the music world. I see a great deal of black power when I look at photos and videos of Whitney now for sure. I saw a strong black woman from Newark going through a lot right before my eyes. There were things I didn't know that I saw, and there were things I didn't know that Whitney was going through. We didn't see the whole picture. The truth was in Whitney and her life. Not in the tabloids and what the world had to say about her. Whitney must speak for herself. Her life did some speaking, but only God knows all details.

What I heard happened to Whitney can happen to any of us. Look at the world today. We don't know what we'll have to face. We don't know what might drive us to do something wrong. Whitney died at the age of 48. Those of us that are still young in our 20's and 30's will be blessed if we get her age. We'll be blessed to make it to a career. If we do, like Whitney had done, we should always thank God. I thank God for sharing Whitney with us in music and how she empowered some of us as a woman with black power.

What Did Whitney Houston Know about NC?

What did Whitney Houston know about NC? Sometimes when Whitney Houston's name comes up, I see the words Shelby NC. She has been there to support  her sister-n-law's (Pat Houston) Teen Summit event. Whitney was in my state. When I found out, I thought, "I'll Be Doggone. And I still didn't get a chance to meet her." Whitney was so close.

This year, I just found out that one of my aunts that lived in New Jersey didn't live that far from Whitney. Again, I thought, " I'll Be Doggone. And I still didn't get a chance to meet Whitney."

Not long ago after Whitney passed, I found out that I have a cousin that went to school with her. Three strikes and I'm out. Things were happening all around me concerning Whitney Houston, and we never met.

Whitney Houston and The Bible

Some people make fun of Whitney Houston. You have got to be careful at who you laugh at and what you laugh at. I don't care how good or how bad somebody else may seem. Everything in the world is funny to some people until trouble comes their way. If you know what the Bible mentions, you know that you had better be careful at what you laugh at. You can tell who really reads the Bible. There are people raised up making mockery of other people. So we know how lost they are. Jesus was also mocked.

Luke 18:32 For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:

Whitney Houston was searching for something. It is said that she knew her Bible well. She went in the direction of the Lord though she might not have been doing what was right sometimes. Some people would never think about the Bible or Christ. I'm sure that God was paying attention if Whitney was truly seeking him. Some people have no one to talk to and no one to guide them along the way in life. Maybe they were brought up in church, but there are things wrong in the church buildings too. Whitney was searching and reading the Bible for herself.

St. John 5: 39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Yes, it is said that Whitney Houston has done drugs. Many people do drugs and maybe for different reasons. If you don't do drugs, that doesn't mean that you are better than the next person. There is something wrong in your life too. I have things in my life that I am fighting and need to overcome. Whitney knew that she could somehow overcome through Jesus Christ. There was a tabloid show that called Whitney crazy. Anyone that is seeking God has more sense than a lot of folks. What does tabliods do and the people that write them? The Bible mentions the things that they do in so many words. Search the scriptures. They got to stand before God too. We all do.

Satan kept going after Whitney. He doesn't go after people that are lost. Satan figures that he has them already. He's interested in those that he does not have. Satan wanted Whitney dead because she was a threat from the beginning. She was getting close to her daughter, and she was moving away from drugs. That made Satan work just that much harder. He knew there was something special about Whitney.

Whitney must have been doing something right. She probably would not have went through all of the hurt and pain she went through if Satan was not interested in her. Whitney was going through a constant battle. God knew whom she was as well better than she knew herself. Better than those that are judging her. I'm just glad that Whitney picked up her Bible and knew about God. She will get a better judgment from the Lord. God knows how hard we try and if we have really done our best or not.

John 3:16 King James Version (KJV)

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Nippy, Needle, and Record (Whitney Houston)

Whitney Houston had a New Jersey-based management company. I like the frame of mind Whitney had. She was about business, and she had the right idea in having her own. It is said she had some other companies too. I'm learning some more things about Whitney I didn't know. It kind of makes me sad that I didn't get to meet her. To forget the pain of her being gone, today I just draw Nippy, needle, and record.

If Whitney Were Alive, She Could Play As Herself

IF WHITNEY WERE ALIVE, SHE COULD PLAY AS HERSELF
JUST NIPPY

Clive Davis is producing a Whitney Houston Biopic, and we are all left wondering who will play Whitney. Some people have been saying that they would like to see Demetria McKinney play as Whitney who played as her before. Pat Houston has mention Taraji P. Henson for the Whitney Biopic. There are people that don’t agree, but I can see why Pat has mentioned Taraji after seeing her play in the action movie Proud Mary. See More

The Children Are The Future

Wikipedia.org

Good evening Whitney Houston fans and anyone else that may be listening. Something pointed out to me that the song "Greatest Love of All" was a very good song. I had heard it before from George Benson back in 1977, but when Whitney Houston sang it in the 80's, I didn't recognize the song because I heard George and his version of it maybe once or twice. By then, I had forgotten about it.

Whitney's first line singing the song was, I believe the children are our future. People, you've got to believe in your children. There was a woman in the Bible name Sherah who built 3 cities. You'll find that in 1 Chronicles chapter 7 verse 24. In our world today, people look at the gender a lot, but whether you are male or female, God will use you. the Bible lets us know who we are. Children grew up in the Bible and became great. They were not just born to be born. The children are the future. Don't put them down. Encourage them. Whitney Houston singing The Greatest Love of All is something we ought to remember and keep in mind. You know Whitney became great herself, and she probably had other abilities that she didn't know she had. People ask you how did you do so and so. Just know that things come from God.

Yesterday - Whitney Within

Wikipedia.org
Transcript

One evening, I saw Whitney Houston in a dream. She appeared to be laughing and she said, "No, I'm not coming back. Not right away."

The Dream didn't last very long. (Singing) I believe in yesterday.

And I said as she kept looking back at someone, "You can't be gone! You got more work to do!"

And she said, "Actually, I didn't know you were the boss. You better get along with me." Whitney made me laugh. (singing)

And Whitney said, "I got you."
(Background singing: Rest in peace)
I'll never loose you.
(Background singing: Rest in peace)
And lift the Savior up. I'm in a better place now.
I just stop by to say what's up."

I had quite a dream. (Singing)

One more thing. Whitey was in my yesterday in music.
...... One day we'll meet...... we'll meet again.....

Yesterday is a song by the Beetles. It was released in 1965. Whenever I hear that song, I think of Whitney Houston. I wanted to share my dream. I'm Gail Nobles and you're listening to a soul Whitney podcast on the Cat Bear.

Whitney Houston and Delusion

Google Image

People are quick to believe a lie before they believe the truth. They get excited about bad news and gossip. The media knows, the government knows, politicians know, and The White House knows. We all know that there are lies and people easily fall for bull crap.

We heard and are still hearing opinions and facts about Whitney Houston. We hear some truth and things untrue. There is a lot of fake news, and President Trump is always telling us about that. We may not always like what the president say or do, but I think it is good to still listen to him even if we don't agree. The president is right when he tells us there is fake news, and he is always in the news everyday.

When it was told on television that Whitney Houston passed away, things seemed crazy. Nobody was satisfied about the story of how Whitney died including myself. People are still not satisfied and seem upset. We can only believe what we are told about what was found on the autopsy. Whitney's family talks about her, and they told their side, and other folks outside of the family knew Whitney, and they told their side. Everybody is writing and telling the public different things. I believe that those of us that were not with Whitney will never know really what happened to her or her daughter. We only speculate on what we were told.

When it comes to Whitney Houston, there is strong delusion. The bible talks about delusion in 2 Thessalonians 2. So if you want to know the meaning of the word, the bible is a good book to get the meaning.

There are people out there who cares about no one but fame and money. They are just trying to make a story or make a movie. They add to it and take away from it. There  are people full of lies and deceit. I'm sure Whitney saw that before she passed away in her career. We see it in the tabloids. There are all kinds of artwork and models being hired to recreate a person or a death scene. Headlines are sometimes twisted. Sometimes the story might be true and most of the time things look exaggerated.

Halle Berry - She Loved Whitney Houston Too

Photo Credit: Whitney The Voice Houston
Halle Berry: Whitney Personifies the term icon. She inspired a generation of little girls and women to believe in their own dream. And to know that they had within themselves the greatest gift of all. Well, I was one of those little girls who then became a woman; who never ever - ever stopped loving Whitney Houston.

From "We Will Always Love You: A GRAMMY Salute to Whitney Houston", 2012

During the night of the Grammy Salute to Whitney Houston, Halle Berry was very emotional giving tribute to her. Like many of us, Halle Berry loved Whitney Houston too. The singer had a great affect on both the famous and non-famous.
