No One Is Immune to Spirits That Are Evil

Wikipedia.org
Whitney Houston loved church and God. She was raised up in the church. I believe that was the reason Whitney was harrassed by evil.  It began to show later on in her career in the news reports and negative tabloids. If it had not been for that, we might not would have known anything. The devil was against Whitney, and he is against any of us that have God given talent. That is just a fact.
The devil works through man and his greed for money. In the music business or any job and career, you can feel over worked and pressured. The devil works through man's evil thoughts, ideas, and words. Now man will tell you that it is not about your talent. We never heard that in the old days. There were so many singers in the music business in the old days. There are so many to name that were great. It's nothing like it use to be.

Everything that God is not against, the devil and man seems to work against it. Whitney reached fame fast with her singing, and that's when the evil forces attacked even more. The devil is nothing but destruction. He doesn't want anything good to happen.

People point fingers and say things like, "They knew what they were doing when they got into the music business." Some things Whitney might not have known like we know today, but I'm sure she found out. We have the Internet. We are warned about fame, fortune, and the price of it. The Internet tells every little thing true and untrue. Whitney's mom told her all that she knew about the music business, but Whitney was also learning for herself. Things were probably different in her mom's day and Whitney's fame was bigger. She may have experienced a little more. Some things Whitney's mom might not have known. Some things may not have been Whitney's fault.

Whitney probably got tired and couldn't focus on God the way she wanted to traveling the road and constantly doing things in her career. I'm sure there might have been some distraction. The devil got into her marriage and all the good things she was trying to do. Any little hole the devil thinks he can fit through he will do it. This happens to all of us. No one is immune to spirits that are evil. We want to relax, and we need a break from the pressures of life weighing us down. Some of us get addicted to drugs, some of us get sick and die, and some of us suffer depression. Sometimes things may happen to us we have no control over and don't understand. We are all in the same boat when it comes to trials and tribulations.

In this world and born in sin, we are going to make mistakes and bad choices. We need God and his wisdom and discernment. The evil spirits try to beat down our harmony and peace with God. Whitney Houston did mention God, and I don't believe that she would have been able to if he were not in her heart. If God was in her heart while she was dying, she did not fail.

 - These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Hearing Whitney Houston Sing in the 70's

YouTube
Do you remember The Michael Zager Band? Do you remember a disco song in the 70's titled Let's All Chant?  Whitney Houston was the guest artist vocals on that song. I remember hearing that song. She was a teenager, and I guess I might have been about six or seven years old. When I heard it, I had no idea that Whitney Houston existed. I didn't know who she was in the background, but I remember hearing her in the background. Her face was never seen. Whitney was not famous then.

How could I forget that song? The ooh-ah part was popular. I remember hearing people singing that part. It was the part of the song that stood out and made people repeat it. 🙂 I guess I repeated it, but I would never sing the rest of the song. I understood the lyrics 😂. I felt funny singing the my body part, and I don't know why. When I heard Shake Your Booty by KC and the Sunshine Band, I was singing that. Some Disco was known to be kind of sexual, but my mom gave me freedom to listen to Disco as long as it wasn't anything too sexual. Looks like Whitney's mom was the same way. It's good that we had some freedom. When I hear some songs today that are sexual, I don't care for them at all. They are far worse than what I was hearing in the days of Disco.

Whitney's Style & Grace, Concerts, and More

YouTube
Whitney Houston had style and grace. She had class and good taste. Whitney was a singer but she still used fashion and her modeling skills. She could do it all.

When I first saw the concert where she performed live in Washington, DC in 1997, I thought, "Is that Whitney? That's a classy sister." Whitney could dress up. It was enjoyable watching her in her fashion though I never liked it for myself. I loved her outfits.

Whitney made you feel right at home in her concerts whether you actually bought a ticket to see her live or just watched her on television at home. Either way, it was easy to get locked into how she performed. She made you feel like you were really apart. The conversations that Whitney had with her audience between singing were interesting. She told you stories about life and people. Whitney appeared friendly and kind to people in her concerts. She became you at the same time she performed as Whitney Houston. She seemed to be a fun person. Whitney was always laughing and joking; yelling back to her fans in the audience. I wish I could have met her. Although I didn't meet her, it feels as if I did because of the memories of her entertaining and singing and her just being her down to earth self.

Whitney Is Queen

(Theme song)

..... That was a quote from Whitney Houston. She seemed upset in an interview that day when she said you sing on em. Whitney said that she was in the right business; just the wrong people. She said you don't do anything about it. She said you do what you do. You sing.

In my opinion, I think Clive Davis did a great for what he did do in recognizing Whitney to become a singer. She was making the hits. And nobody was saying Whitney Houston wasn't black enough then. However, like always, music was starting to change although Whitney gave us songs with meaning and dance as well. Hip Hop was the music people wanted, but I must add that not everybody wanted it. I'm thinking and asking myself when did being pop become not black enough. Whitney was winning American Music Awards and Grammies. So was MJ, and he's the King of Pop. Whitney was doing quite well. I don't think that it had anything to do with her not being black enough or had anything to do with her music. In my opinion, I think something was going on in the music business. ........

Did You Know Whitney Houston the Piano Player?

Whitney Houston had more to give. Did you know Whitney the piano player? I never knew that she could play the piano, but I wasn't surprised when I found out either. Whitney was all about music. In the rare footage she played the piano. She sat down to play it like it had been a daily routine. The piano didn't look like a stranger to Whitney. She sat down to play it with confidence, and wasn't shy about it at all. Maybe Whitney had been doing it most of her life and she just didn't show it in the music business, but now we see.

Whitney sang along with a song called Loving is Really My Game by Brainstorm.

I can't catch no man
Hangin' out at a discotheque
But I believe in the boogie
Oh, but the boogie don't believe in me
Well, I got my way of groovin'
Sittin' down right in my seat
I get soul satisfaction
Yeah, without jumpin' up and down on my feet..

The song sounds as if it were speaking of Whitney. Hearing the singer that was singing it, sounds like a song that Whitney could sing but as a better and updated version. I Always believed that Whitney could sing soul disco songs. The song that was being played sounded as if it belonged to Whitney. I always believed she could really get down. In the music business, it seemed as if she was only allowed to do the songs her producer may have wanted her to sing. Whitney had so much more. She needed to feel free and to let it all hang out.

Whitney Within

Usage: Wikepedia.org Fair use
It was the year of 2012 when I created a blog. It was a blog about Whitney Houston. I named it Whitney Within. I didn't name it Whitney Within because of singing. I named it Whitney Within because of feeling. There were things inside of me that I felt. There was something guiding me along and letting me know that Whitney was really a decent person. I looked at her from the very beginning of her career. I feel the guide is a simple gift. Something tells me that Whitney did make some mistakes. Don't we all? Something also tells me that she was very powerful, and there was a lot of envying going on. I was told to look at what I saw. I feel that was the Spirit of God talking with me. I heard him say, "Don't worry about Whitney's death."

Many times I would listen to Whitney Houston sing. She could sing with a loud shout. Whitney would do the kind of things in singing that gospel singers do. One day I tried singing in that shouting voice incorrectly and discovered that Whitney's high note wasn't my high note. Somehow I felt Whitney Houston saying, "You have strength. Stay with you." To be honest, I don't feel the spirit of shouting when I sing. I feel something else. What God gave to Whitney Houston, God gave to Whitney Houston.

As I study the Bible, God talks with me about things like raising the dead. I don't know whether or not God intended for Whitney Houston to die. Right now, she's resting. I feel in God that it's only the beginning. Sometimes I feel a mystery.

St. John 11:25 “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:”

It feels like Whitney Houston never left. I'm Gail Nobles, and this is my story, "Whitney Within".

Whitney - The First Lady of Song

Whitney Houston's debut album titled Whitney Houston is the first album by a female artist and new artist to yield three No. 1 singles - "Saving All My Love for You", "How Will I Know", and "Greatest Love of All". Whitney Houston's album was released in 1985. It topped the Billboard 200 for 14 weeks in 1986.

On that album, "The Greatest Love of All" is the first song to hit my mind when I think of Whitney, but not the only song. The song was composed by Michael Masser and Linda Creed wrote the lyrics. To me, it's a very special and spiritual song. Whitney Houston is called the First Lady of song, and she is also called the voice......

A Whitney Houston Live Album Could Be Made

Whitney once sung a song by Luther Vandross called Amazing Love back in 1999 giving tribute to Luther. She had done so well singing that song. It sounded as if it were her song. It would be nice if someone could record Whitney singing the song from the video to vinyl record. Sometimes Whitney sounded better live than she did on record and the music too. Maybe an album could be made of Whitney singing live.

Sunday Ft. Whitney Houston - Believe in Love

nippyfanclub
Whitney Houston had a girl group called Sunday (A five girl group and only three shown) at Better Place Records. As I look back at videos on YouTube, Whitney seemed to have had a lot of love for people. That was very nice of her to recognize these girls. If I'm not mistaken, three of them are sisters and two of them are cousins according to my earliest post  or YouTube video. There were too many good things about Whitney to ignore. She had good intentions but there were interruptions. There might be a lot of good things  Whitney has done the public probably don't know about, and we are fed all the negativity from the tabloids and so forth.

Whitney Houston recognized a very talented group of girls. That means that Whitney was more than just a singer. She learned the business and was planning to do more. Whitney had other abilities. She knew that  the group Sunday had talent so she must have had the ear in music to know. Sunday made a song Ft. Whitney Houston - Believe in Love.

The Voice Whitney

By Gail Nobles © 2020
Everyone knows that Whitney Houston was the voice. When it was said that she lost her voice, to me, she did not loose it completely. Her voice just changed, and she couldn’t hit the notes as high as she could when she was so much younger. It’s a common thing that can happen. There may have been some things that affected her voice too. A number of things can affect the voice.

On Whitney’s last album, I Look To You, I could still tell that I was hearing the voice of Whitney Houston. Some people like the fact that Whitney’s voice changed and thinks she sounds better older than when she was young. There are all sorts of opinions and listeners. I loved hearing Whitney and I wish I could have told her in her living years.
