A Whitney Houston Live Album Could Be Made

Whitney once sung a song by Luther Vandross called Amazing Love back in 1999 giving tribute to Luther. She had done so well singing that song. It sounded as if it were her song. It would be nice if someone could record Whitney singing the song from the video to vinyl record. Sometimes Whitney sounded better live than she did on record and the music too. Maybe an album could be made of Whitney singing live.

Sunday Ft. Whitney Houston - Believe in Love

nippyfanclub
Whitney Houston had a girl group called Sunday (A five girl group and only three shown) at Better Place Records. As I look back at videos on YouTube, Whitney seemed to have had a lot of love for people. That was very nice of her to recognize these girls. If I'm not mistaken, three of them are sisters and two of them are cousins according to my earliest post  or YouTube video. There were too many good things about Whitney to ignore. She had good intentions but there were interruptions. There might be a lot of good things  Whitney has done the public probably don't know about, and we are fed all the negativity from the tabloids and so forth.

Whitney Houston recognized a very talented group of girls. That means that Whitney was more than just a singer. She learned the business and was planning to do more. Whitney had other abilities. She knew that  the group Sunday had talent so she must have had the ear in music to know. Sunday made a song Ft. Whitney Houston - Believe in Love.

The Voice Whitney

By Gail Nobles © 2020
Everyone knows that Whitney Houston was the voice. When it was said that she lost her voice, to me, she did not loose it completely. Her voice just changed, and she couldn’t hit the notes as high as she could when she was so much younger. It’s a common thing that can happen. There may have been some things that affected her voice too. A number of things can affect the voice.

On Whitney’s last album, I Look To You, I could still tell that I was hearing the voice of Whitney Houston. Some people like the fact that Whitney’s voice changed and thinks she sounds better older than when she was young. There are all sorts of opinions and listeners. I loved hearing Whitney and I wish I could have told her in her living years.

Whitney Nippy Houston

SOUL SISTER MUSIC
WHITNEY NIPPY HOUSTON
Something about her is still alive. She's in the music and the music in us. Back in Washington DC Live in 1997, I felt the closeness between Nippy, Monica, and Brandy. There were other close friends there too, but from Nippy, I felt a sister hood. Whitney Nippy Houston. She brought the music down with three vocalist in the background. Nippy was singing "Shoop", and folks from the audience joined. I wish I could of been there so she could hear me shoop. What would my words have been? ........

Whitney Houston Star Spangled Banner 1988

Whitney Houston had been singing the Star Spangled Banner before 1991. She also sang it at a basketball game in 1988 for Kareem Abdul Jamar’s retirement. Whitney had done a very good job even then but a fantastic job singing it in 1991.

Whitney Houston Singing Gospel - Jesus Loves Me

You know something was going on in Whitney's career. Something happened. But through it all, there was something about Whitney that made me know that she never let the gospel go because she was always singing it. Whitney's last live performance was "Jesus Loves Me" with Kelly Price. The song appears on the album "The Bodyguard" of the original soundtrack in 1992.

I think Whitney Houston made the right decision singing the gospel though she was singing R&B. She didn't sing the gospel in every performance, but I'm glad that she did sing it when she did. When she was singing the gospel, it was probably the best church Hollywood ever had. Often, "Jesus Loves Me" is a song we need to hear. Some people may have gotten saved hearing Whitney sing that song, and I'm sure the song was a great reminder to Whitney through her trials.

Some people don't believe that you should sing both gospel and R&B. But it's not what we sing that gets us to heaven. It's living the word of God.

We judge a drug addict and an alcoholic, but God knows what caused the problem. God knows if someone caused the problem, and he's the best judge because only he can see what's down in the soul.

Whitney Houston knew that she would be talked about, but she also knew that Jesus loved her, and that she could go home to him; before it was to late. There is a story in the song, "Jesus Loves Me". I'm glad that Whitney gave God praise...........
