In This Life, You Must Be Real

In this life you must be real. Celebrities need to look in the camera and tell the world to think whatever they want to think. They need to go on and live their lives the way they want to and just be themselves. They do not need to live for the world. Celebrities put on the makeup, dress up, and look good for the world. That's fine for the stage and camera, but what about real life? Not very many of them are for real. Some of the celebrities live a lie and are very unhappy. Who wants to live a lie? People will tell you that you're beautiful. Are they lying? People tell you that they love you. Do they love you? People tell you that they will be there for you. Where they there? Life is nothing to play with. People hearts are broken. People are hurting and people are dying. Celebrities are people. Some of them are hurting and some of them are dying. It's time to be real and choose what is real. Celebrities are flat out human beings. Some of them want you to look up to them and make them a big deal. Some of them yell at you for asking for an autograph. As soon as the world stops shouting their names, it bothers them. They don't feel loved anymore. As far as I'm concerned, it was never love. It was only love for the entertainment and the beauty of the celebrity. People need what is real and they need love. People need the truth, should speak the truth, and live the truth. We get so caught up in that old fantasy world. When you wake up, you are not happy because you are not living what you desire to have. What you may have may mean nothing because it may not be real. When a celebrity looks into a camera, they should say this is the real me. Accept me or not. They need to stand up and be real. Their fans need to be real too because it's all about real people.

Whitney Houston - Look into Your Heart

YouTube

.Whitney Houston sings "Look into Your Heart" by Curtis Mayfield & Aretha Franklin from the original Sparkle movie. Sparkle was a 1976 film. Sparkle was Irene Cara. I'm wondering if Whitney knew that she would do a remake of the movie Sparkle singing this song somewhere in the 90's. It was a tribute to Curtis

Whitney Houston's Climbing Notes

Whitney Houston could reach very high notes. She was good and loud with her singing. At first, singing was just basic singing. Not many girls I knew were showing off their voices like Whitney when I was growing up. In the old days, it seemed like everybody was just singing a song without all of the real high notes and strong volume. When Whitney came along, everybody thought they had to sing strong and loud to be a great singer. Everybody was trying to reach the highest note possible. We already had Aretha Franklin and Patti LaBelle as strong singers. They sung strong, but the majority of people I knew did not try to sing like them. There was just something about Whitney. It seemed that she had a greater affect on people and their way of singing. Although Whitney would practice singing with Aretha Franklin's records growing up, she still brought something different and something new. Everybody that was singing a Diana Ross song, for an example, had to wake up and sing differently when they heard Whitney Houston.

Whitney Houston and Gospel Music

Whitney Houston carried Gospel music with her no matter where she went. There are categories for music, but Whitney passed the boundary line. She gave God glory. Whitney sung, "I Look to You", written by R Kelly. Although she didn't say the name God, I knew exactly whom she was talking about. I knew it was coming straight from the heart. Whitney knew what trials and tribulations were all about and she knew God. In concerts, she sung gospel songs like, "I Go To the Rock". The crowd seemed to love her in the audience whenever she sung a gospel song. That is saying something, and Whitney is called the queen of pop. The audience seemed to accept Whitney even more to my eyes when she sung gospel.

It is said that Whitney Houston was not suppose to have sung Gospel music. There are rumors that she sold her soul. If she did not do it deliberately, and God knows every intention, the Lord has forgiven her. Whitney had a chance to make things right before she left this world. (Matt. 12:31) Wherefore I say to you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

Questions about Whitney Houston's Death

A week before the movie Sparkle was released, I was asked by co-workers was I going to see it. I told them that I didn't know. I feel kind of down about Whitney knowing the part that she played, and I don't know if I'm ready to watch the movie now. Some of the movie looks like it might depress me thinking of Whitney and how the music business is. I think I would rather wait for the DVD.

Everybody that mentions Sparkle seems to notice how great Whitney looked in the movie. It makes some people wonder if drugs really killed Whitney. It makes me wonder if other things were happening to Whitney. We know that Whitney had church up-bringing for one thing. Some things just don't sound like Whitney to me, family, and friends.

I heard a child ask if I thought Whitney and Michael Jackson were really dead. I told that child that I didn't know. We never saw their bodies, and we weren't there to see what happened to Whitney. That child said to me, "I guess we will never know then, will we?"

To know that Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston are gone has an affect on people. They seemed like some kind of hope for some people. They always kept me thinking, "If they can make it, so can I." When they were pronounced dead, I felt like a part of me died with them.

When I heard that Whitney died, the story never sounded right to me. For some reason, I feel in my soul that she's not gone. I never felt that way hearing about some body's death. Where ever she is, I hope she's happy with Christ the Good and Chief Shepherd.

(1Peter 5:4) And when the chief Shepherd shall be manifested, ye shall receive the crown of glory that fadeth not away.

(John 10:11) I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd layeth down his life for the sheep.

Whitney Houston - Family Comes First

Nothing's better than family,
For the ones who love u so
Be a shoulder to cry on when u are in need
They will never leave u alone
When your friends bring u down
And they drag you through the dirt
And nobody is around
They will carry u through the hurt

Just remember that family comes first
Where u gonna run to? when no one is around
Do u think think they will love u when your face is on the ground? (face is on the ground) when u feel your strength is almost gone and when your heart is getting weak (getting weak) and u don't think you can keep holding on and they stand for your feet (just remember) family comes first..............

Bobbi Kristina and ADOPTED Brother

Google Image
People are crazy. It is said that fans were shocked when Bobbi posted a picture on twitter kissing her ADOPTED brother. Do people know what adopted brother means? It means that he is not her brother or half brother. The guy is no kin to Bobbi at all. Sometimes I wonder if it's just to keep Bobbi in the news. It can be easily done, and you can tell the world anything. People make a big deal out of nothing. The world will believe anything but the truth.

Whitney Houston - Should Have Been Prayer at the Party

Google Image
It's alright that LL Cool J prayed at the 2012 grammy awards. He opened the show giving tribute to Whitney Houston that had already passed away. However, there should have been prayer at the Clive Davis Party when Whitney died there. It is said that the party went on while Whitney's body was still in the building. Why wasn't there prayer then? They all should have gotten together and prayed. Whitney might would have came through to live. There are more important things in life than a stupid party. Hollywood is a big fantasy, and the people there better wake up. They might see themselves lying in a coffin and gone too soon as well. (Luke 18:1)  And he spoke a parable to them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

Natalie Cole - Miss You Like Crazy

YouTube
I remember back in the days when Whitney was younger, Natalie Cole performed with Whitney Houston. Natalie Cole sings, Miss You Like Crazy. It is a love song that she sings about a man. When I listen to the song, I think of it as a song with love for someone I miss. We miss Whitney Houston, and I know Natalie Cole does too. I post this video in memory of Whitney.

Whitney and Natalie Cole Sings Together

Whitney Houston and Natalie Cole performs together. I loved hearing them both. I remember watching this video with my mother. When Whitney was getting down with Natalie in singing, my mother would laugh a little and say, "Yea, but Natalie has been singing a long time."  My mother picked up on tiny little things. It made no difference to me that Natalie had been in the singing business longer than Whitney. My mother was old school anyhow. I liked it all.

Where Do Broken Hearts Go

Whitney Houston's, Where do Broken Hearts Go, is a beautiful song. It's about the only song that I could sing by her in the 80's. If Whitney was broken hearted before she left us, I believe she found her way home to Jesus. If she decides she wants to visit her family and friends looking down from heaven, knowing Whitney, she'll worry heaven to get her message through to them somehow (LOL). I believe heaven has a way of letting us know that our loved ones are okay and in heaven. Whitney loved people, and broken hearts do rest in heaven.

Whitney Houston - I Sing Them Right Under My Feet

Singing was Whitney's greatest strength. It was her way of not letting the troubles of this world get her down. Whitney kept on moving no matter what people thought.

I'm going to miss hearing Whitney sing new songs. After every song, I would often wonder what she would sing next and how she would sing it. Whintney did not sing the same way all of the time. However, she told us a lot through her singing and in her interviews just talking. Whitney left us with some words to remember with her voice.

Whitney Houston and Jordan River

Google Image
For some reason, Whitney wanted to be baptized in the River Jordan. The Bible speaks of the River Jordan, Jerusalem, and Israel. Jerusalem is located in Israel.

(Matt. 3:1-6) 1In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, 2
And saying, Repent you: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare you the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. 4 And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leather girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey. 5 Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan, 6 And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.

Maybe Whitney Houston really knew her Bible and tried to base her life on it. God chose Israel to be his chosen people according to (Deut.7:6).  For you are an holy people to the LORD your God: the LORD your God has chosen you to be a special people to himself, above all people that are on the face of the earth.

Great things happened in Israel in the Bible days. There may have been other reasons why Whitney chose to be baptized in the Jordan River with her family. I do not know, but I'm guessing that it is becasuse she knew the things mentioned in the Bible.
